Archive?
I know this may sound like a silly question but I was wondering if Vbul has the ability to archive. I've seen a few threads that I thought future viewers could benefit from.
Archived threads were a stable for the old system (and this one as while I suppose) but I was wondering if will ever return or if it has gone the way of the Dodo?

Re: Archive?
I think Jive Talka's been drinking.
But yeah, I've wondered the same thing.

Re: Archive?
When Vbul first came online, there was a discussion about this. I remember Jeff saying he didn't know of a feature that would be similar to the old archive, plus there really isn't the need for it now that all past threads are viewable.
But yeah, I see what you're getting at. It would be nice to distinguish some notable threads of the past from the rest in the trash heap. :)

Which is scary. Not every thread deserves to be archived.
It would be nice to be able to be selective about what's archived. There are some brilliant threads I'd love to see saved that cant really be kept up as stickies for forever.

Re: Archive?
You could create an archive forum, with subforms for each of the forums?

Re: Archive?
I've been wondering about that myself, wanted to archive the stickied old "new" psychic readings thread.
Instead, I unstickied it --since there is a new thread of much the same name--and it just sort of fluted off into the ozone.
Wha' hoppen?

I only accept Mighty Mouse references.

Nah, just a lame attempt at folksy dialect, being Valley trash (which is sort of an Alaskan in-joke).

I like this idea. Excellent thinking.
