Jealous of other relationships
Say there's some girl at school or work or wherever that I find attractive (both physically and personality-wise), I'll start to pay more attention to her, but not in a creepy way.
But if I see her hanging out with her friends (male and/or female), laughing/having a good time, or if I see she has a good relationship with her parents, enjoys spending time with them, I tend to get jealous/discouraged and won't feel like pursuing her or even just getting to know her.
Anyone else like this or know how to get over it?

i have an inferiority complex, and napoleon complex thing going on, so yeah i'm pretty subconscious. I'm not ugly, nor am I midget, I'd like to be taller and better looking, but wouldn't everyone? anyways, i tend to think im better then a lot of people. i also have a tendency to act really awkward around people who i think are cooler then me, or i'll be more quiet. i prefer to hang out with people who are not as popular as me because it makes me feel more comfortable. anyways, i get a little jealous when girls go after other guys, even if i didnt want the girl, it's because i am into attention.
anyways, if you wanna get over it, approach that
"pretty girl" and if you like her, you probably wont feel the hostility as much.

Re: Jealous of other relationships
It's our primal instincts, ego. My girl, my son, my food, etc.
I used to be very jealous of such things, even when I was a kid. But I've evolved. I'm getting to the point in my life where I want to maybe adopt a child. I have no problem with the fact that this child will not be related to me in the immediate genetic sense. The fact that this child is a person, capable of the same thoughts and feelings as I, is all that matters. The only problem is in order to adopt a child you must have a 'partner', which I do not have.

Yup. You just have to try and teach yourself to ignore it.

That's what I like about the human race. Our natural design is for survival, therefore it is very selfish and violent. But we have thinking minds. We can override our natural design. The only species we know of to actually do this. It's amazing. We are probably one of the worst suited animals to physically survive. Yet, we live in all climates on earth. :)
