Do I kick her into touch?
A while back my girlfriend was getting quite friendly with a guy who was sort of my friend - I didn't like it because he has a bit of a rep. for being a love-weasel, and I could tell he had a thing for her. I let her know I was concerned a few times but she'd just say that it was just friendship and I needed to trust her more. Anyway, just after I finally managed to get used to it, they had a drunken kiss.
Obviously I broke up with her because it really seemed like an honest mistake (on her part anyway), I could see how upset she was that we'd broken up so I decided to give her another chance - only if she'd promise not to be friendly with him any more and be more sensitive to me feeling insecure about this sort of thing - fair enough right?
Anyway, I just found out the bad way (by "accidentally" looking at his inbox) that they're still texting, ringing each other and reminiscing etc. and I suppose it was the fact she broke a promise and hid it from me that pissed me off... the content was quite harmless. Anyway, I told her I didn't want to see her or speak to her again.
Now she's saying that she didn't mean to let me down and said she shouldn't have made the promise because she couldn't have stuck to it: She says she feels sorry for him and given he likes her and can't have her, would feel mean to completely ignore him and not return texts etc.
Now I'm thinking of ending it for good... Do you think that's reasonable?
I don't really trust my judgement on this one because I think I'm letting leftover feelings from the first thing interfere with what I'd normally think and do :-S
I'm thinking right now though... She's broken the trust twice, and I really don't have an ounce left! Surely that means that we can't have a good relationship now?

She's kinda asking you to support another mans romantic feelings towards your girlfriend.

Aaaaaand that's the reason why I'm willing to end a relationship over a few texts! To be fair, she's told me that she didn't realise it meant that much to me and it definitely won't happen again. Probably bullshit though, si?

If she broke her promise the first time in saying she wouldn't talk to him, do you really think she'll keep it this time?

She lied to you. She acted like a whore. She's fucking around with another guy and deceiving you.
...And you want to continue to go out with her why?
Why are you even posting this thread?!? dump the bitch allready!
Cheating is unforgivable. And I dont give a fuck if they were drunk, that's a shit excuse and a pathetic one.

he takes the time and effort to read about your sorry life, and lame relationship woes, he gives his opinion then you defend the girl that you're asking us to give our opinion on, why do you even need other people to interfere with your already terrible judgment? pull the trigger and dump the bitch.

You were the better man once already. You have two options. Risk yourself again or eject.

There's always one... Sorry life? What the fuck do you know?
I asked for advice because I've never had to deal with this stuff before, found his to be helpful so asked for advice on another aspect. Don't see where in that you saw an invitation to come in and be a wanker. Mind you, I wouldn't need one either if I was the kind of introvert so frustrated with myself that I had to go online to project turmoils I don't have the stones to deal with in real life. Just an educated guess.

See you're obviously intelligent, how can you not grasp the fact that your girlfriend is a whore and a slag?

Broke up with her. I realised when she broke that promise how little I'd really dealt with that kiss and how little I could trust her, and once I started tugging on those threads, the whole thing just... unravelled.

Agreed.
One of my ex girlfriends did that, well something similar anyway. I dumped her the first time, she was all crying and shit and real upset cause we broke up. Then I went and rooted her cousin. Taught that bitch. Hahaha

Re: Do I kick her into touch?
This whole story is ridiculous. BOTH of you are losers, and I can't believe she actually wants your sorry ass back. So this drunken kiss happens, and you hold ALL of the accountability on her shoulders? What about this "sorta friend" of yours? Why the fuck would you still associate with someone that messed with your girl, and especially why didn't you kick his ass promptly after it happened the first time? Nope, but there you are....still in close enough association with him to be checking his text messages.
At this point you have only one option to get back at her if you are this upset at "her" indiscretion. Go suck your friend's cock, because at this point all you are is his little bitch. Once she learns that he is a homo for having sickening man love with you, she'll be all alone....problem solved. Seriously, how much of a pussy are you to NOT make the "friend" of yours suffer some serious repercussions from messing with your girl?

What does "kick her into touch" mean? If it has anything to do with kicking her in the cunt, then yeah, do that.

Re: Do I kick her into touch?
Something I have always found true: alcohol does not cause people to do crazy things they normally wouldn't; it merely removes their inhibitions, and allows them to do things they would consider or even want to do sober, but would be too shy/embarrassed/socially rejected to do without alcohol.
I was drunk to the point of not being able to stand on my own, yet still turned down a girl I was damn near in love with for several years. The only thing holding my back? I was with someone else at the time.
Alcohol does not dissolve a persons basic morals.
Alcohol is never an acceptable excuse.

Re: Do I kick her into touch?
This thread sucks balls WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!! In no way does this have to do with kicking a bitch in touch, not metaphorically speaking or literally kicking her in the taint till she gets in touch. You sir fail at life.
As someone said this supposed "Friend" of yours kisses your girl and yet your still close enough to read his text? If a friend of mine did that shit id kick his ass and never talk to him again. Its the girls fault to but still he probably was the one that initated it but she went along with it. And the fact she kept talking to him yea shes either fucking him now or plans on it in the future. Dump the bitch and quit being a faggot. Or better yet as someone stated just use her for sex and find someone else. Why waste good pussy, i mean shes obviously not girlfriend material but perfect fuck buddy.

Re: Do I kick her into touch?
As soon as she started moving in for the kiss i would've ended it.....LITERALLY that fast.
As soon as they're not only thinking about doing it...but are actively going after other people its a definite full stop on the relationship, drunk or not.

Re: Do I kick her into touch?
There's an old saying I think of when I read things like this.
"Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me"
In other words, dump her and don't look back because if you continue having a relationship with her and she cheats on you, and she will, you only have yourself to blame.

Dump her now. I didn't do it properly after a drunken kiss and she ended up making out with him. Four times.
