So I completed my freshman year of high school, became pretty popular for someone who'd only been there a year, went to a couple parties, and, well yeah

Anyways, I kinda got a "druggy" reputation. Now, at first I didn't really mind, as I thought it would just kinda be another attribute, but I didn't realize it really qualified me as a person.

Now, through a very strange course of events, I managed to get caught with 2 marijuana seeds by the school security, which led me to give up the names of 2 of my dealers (at the school).

They said "Oh yeah, them... we know about their activities. You are free to go."

So I thought "Shit! Wow that was a close one."

Anyways, a few months later, a major drug bust occurs at the school, the two dealers get arrested, and somehow, people figure out it was me.

Of course, I deny everything, and it KINDA blows over.

School starts in two weeks. What should I expect from the "druggy" crowd at school? All of the people I personally blazed with are still good friends with me (mainly because I denied it and they believed me), and really the only people that hate my guts are the dealers and their friends, whcih amounts to no more than 5 to 10 people. All they've really been doing involves spreading around rumors that they've fucked with my dad's car (which they haven't) and things of the like.

Now also, I'd like to mention that I had gotten into a fight with THE most popular guy in school, Johnny Rain, and that that had lead me to develop MANY, many enemies. One day I tell myself "Wow, this needless vendetta is unbelievably gay, so I send him a message via Facebook basically saying that I had acted like an idiot and that I was sorry if any of my actions had offended him, very, very sincere and the like. Anyways, we get into a conversation that spans about a week and we end up getting each others numbers, and I friend him on Facebook. He tells me "Dude, we should play some tennis sometime, since I hear you play."

I saw some of his friends (people who'd hated me) yesterday, and they casually waved, as if there existed no problem anymore.

Anyways, I'm just wondering what I should expect next year.

I've changed my wardrobe too, as to avoid any resemblances to a "druggy." I have a punch of nice casual dress shirts, some very good Guess jeans, some Ralph Lauren t shirts, and I'm saving up for a pair of black leather highcut Converse All-Stars.

This thread just reminds me of how much I hated fucking high school. And how I still hate fucking high school. I'll let you in on a little secret bud, anything you learn about social interaction in highschool will do NOTHING for you in the real world, because people simply don't act like that out here. Oh, and if they do? They usually never go anywhere in life.

Hey, I've rolled over on people. Shit's intimidating. The caught me when i was hungover, banged up and bleeding and asked me shit, i just wanted them to leave me alone. It's highschool, people will probably forget.

I suggest Be-friending the "popular" kid, and learning to develop a personality based on your traits, rather than your appearance. That can be a good thing to some, others not. In the end, it's your choice.

I got ratted on in grade 8 and the guy jumped out the window and got caught later and expelled and I didnt know where he lived so I couldnt really do anythin.

When I started at a new high school everybody knew me as "the cokehead guy" because I'd do it at school and clearly did not give a fuck who knew. i know exactly what i can get away with in school, and what the consequences are if i get caught doing things i shouldn't.

like, say, if you go on a trip out of state that is technically through school, but no papers ever go out about it (to the administration), feel free to toke up, get drunk, fuck someone up, steal, whatever. at least, according to the little book of loopholes my school hands out.
