I've been dating a 15 year old for nearly 6 months now. I'm 17. I have no problem with this and neither did her fundamentalist Christian parents until they found out that I've had sex in previous relationships and that I've been sneaking in her window.

They gave her a massive lecture, nearly kicked her out (they did the same with her sister) and pandered information out of her. Like what we've done. Which she eventually told. Stupid I know.

So, now they don't trust her or me, and I doubt they'll let me see her easily. So what do I do? Continue the relationship, take a break until she finishes school or break up completely? Or some other advice. I really just wanted advice I guess, I have no idea...

Your girlfriend sounds like a pushover, telling her parents whatever they want to know. My parents are fundamentalist Christians, and I had to deal with this my entire life. The way I did (and still do) deal with it is by being responsible, mature, and doing well in my studies. They let me do what I need to do since I prove that I am able to take care of myself. Hell, they even know that I smoke weed and are okay with it since I actually sit down and talk to them about things.

You want to impress the parents? Continue to act mature, respectful of their daughter, and don't talk about it unless they bring it up. They can't stop you from seeing her, and if they can, then you have more problems than you thought since your girlfriend is too much of a pushover to deal with them in a mature manner.

Then again, she is 15. She can't even legally run away from home. Like I said, their house, their rules, nothing you're gonna be able to do short of eloping that will change that.

I don't know about where you are but here in the southern U.S. its the exact opposite. There have been several times in history where religion was thought to have been fazed out. Its always going to be here. It sucks but people dont like the idea of death being the end. They need to think they have a purpose and are being protected benevolent god. Religion definitely will see a major decline over the next few decades but its always going to be there.

Allthough I do make some exceptions...my best friend goes to church twice a week.

I got about 15 phone calls from her sister/friends last night asking if I knew where she was. They all assumed she was with me. Verbal abuse from her sister followed. Skip to when they find out she was at a friend's house. Like she said she was...

So her parents, by this point, have gone to the police to issue a charge of statutory rape. The cops then tell them that they have nothing. I proceed to laugh, and flaunt the fact that they can't do shit. (Behind their backs of course).

It's all a nice happy family now. Except that my girlfriend isn't going home any time soon. Thanks for all the advice, and the religious rant.
