Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
I'll make this short, although hopefully it will retain it's value.
Ok I just got back home from france, where I was learning french for 6 weeks.
Up untill friday there was this American girl at the place I was staying.
When I arrived she was making fun of me, calling me 'slow' etc. I was completely unattracted to her. She was beautiful and stuff, but had a really repellant personality.
Then I found out that she was the only person in the house who went to the same school as me, so I had to travel there with her every morning, which pissed me off.
But it seemed to me that she was the type of girl who thinks every guy is into her, so I did what I thought was the logical thing at the time, and told her I was gay. That way we removed all the sexual side of things, and left two people who would try to tolerate each other.
So every day we got up, had breakfast together, got the train to school together, went to school together, got lunch together, walked home together, etc. We became very close friends very quickly, and she suddenly became this awesomely sweet, intelligent, funny girl who told me she only acts like a bitch because most guys only want sex with her, and she's come to disrespect guys as a whole.
We started skipping class just to go to starbucks and talk, we went to the zoo and shit, and just did nothing but outrageously flirt and laugh the whole time we were out. It was I think the happiest week of my entire life to date. I have never in my life made a personal connection on that deep a level. It was like I automatically knew the right thing to say in every situation, and I had never achieved that before.
On friday it kind of reached a head. I had missed the last train home the night before, and she somehow got the idea that it was her fault, although it really wasn't. She bought me lunch and my drinks and train fare and stuff though, so I didn't correct her assumption, not that I would have been able to persuade her against it. I tried to get her to let me buy her coffee, but she refused.
She said she was tired, and I agreed that I was too. So we went back to the house early. We both got into my bed and just held each other. It was so nice. She arched her head towards me and smiled, and I knew that she wanted to kiss me.
But I didn't.
Now I would usually, but I had told her I was gay. All I could think of was this one thought that wouldn't go away - "If I kiss her, she's going to think I'm a creepy liar who says he's gay to pick up women".
Maybe an exaggerated insecurity, but it still gave me a mental block and I just couldn't do it.
Then she moved so we were closer, and started running her nails down the back of my neck, like slowly, and she smiled when I shivered.
The mental block wouldn't go away, however, and she eventually stopped and went to sleep in my arms.
Three hours later she left on a plane to America. An hour after that I left for England.
And I am very depressed. I haven't missed anyone this bad before. All I can think about is her laugh, and touch and stuff, and how secure I felt when I was with her. She may aswell be dead, although I guess I'll be able to talk to her online.
All is not lost though. She has invited me to the US to stay with her, and says she'd like to come over here and stay with me. I really hope that wasn't just an in the moment thing, and she still wants to when I email her.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
That sounds like a movie man. You're really really fucked here though.
You could always tell here you lied but then she'd never trust you again probably. Then tell her you love her.
You could tell her that she made you realize you weren't gay anymore and you love her. However if she ever asked you about your past relationships or whatever you'd probably have to lie and that would suck. Also it's just setting a really bad precedent to have to lie to get into a relationship, pretty "oxymoronic".
If you really want to give it a shot, tell her the truth but c'mon you both live thousands of miles away. I'd just accept the fact that a relationship is not going to work out. My advice after all of this though is to remain her friend but tell her the truth. If anything is going to happen, you'll both know when you're honest.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
You know I think I do love her. Every time I want to describe how I feel about her, that's the only word I can think of.
No, you don't.
Great distances are a real bummer, though. I know how you feel, knowing that there could be something between you and her if only you didn't live thousands of miles apart.
Anyway, try your best to stop thinking about it. You should tell her you're not really gay, but wait a while beforehand. I'm pretty sure she knows you were lying, though, otherwise she wouldn't have been so intimate.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
Why do I get a feeling she's onto you and playing some kind of twisted game? Make sure she visits you, not the other way around. Plane tickets are expensive
Besides, you can just pretend you're not too sure if you're completely gay after spending time with her. That you've never felt like this about anyone (which is true actually) before and that you think you have some feelings for her
Of course she can then pull out the "hah, I knew you're not a fag" card and own you a second time but she paid for the plane ticket so it's she who really lost (and being a bitch, can safely say she'd have lost life in general)

Mate, she lives in the States.
Had you kissed her, you'd miss her more.
She's gonna have to be the one that got away.
At least you had fun.
Whatever you do, don't start talking to her on MSN and have a lame cross atlantic internet relationship.

Very true.
But it would have been worth it.
Remembering that time you kissed her is way better than remembering that time you didn't but totally should have.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
Option one: Come clean and tell her you lied about your sexuality because she was being a fucking bitch.
Option two: Continue to play the gay, and say that spending time with her made you doublethink yadda yadda yadda. Guys always like to say that lesbian's just need a good deep dicking, so I'm sure there are plenty of girls who think they can "change" a gay guy.
Option three: Forget the broad.
No matter what option you choose, we'll still have the lulz.

Why not just tell her exactly that?
Problem solved.

I regret to inform you that I had many great lulz at your expense. The 'self pwn' comment was hilarious as well. :D
My vote is to tell her exactly what you told us in the first paragraph(as gently as possible), and tell her you want to see her again. Pay for 1/2 of her plane ticket up there.

You: "I was..."
:D
Eh?
C'mon!
Takes care of your problem AND is hella romantic.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
This is really easy.
You tell her that you arent gay, and that you did it because you wanted to be able to put up with her (her original self). That goes with what she said, that she is a prick cause she doesnt want people trying to get into her pants.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
You guys can laugh at me all you want, I guess it's good that something good is coming out of this for someone.
I already hate myself for it, it's not like shouting 'self pwn' will make it any worse.
I emailed her yesterday, but she hasn't replied yet. Then again it is a 6 hour time difference, so it was late afternoon/night for her. Hopefully I wasn't mistaken about thinking she liked me, and she actually replies.
Goddammit I hate this.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
From the sounds of it, she probably has suspicions about your sexuality already. She was blatantly making advances and you turned them down, which probably only reinforces the whole gay thing. She probably just wanted to have a fun night of fooling around before she left, which is understandable. It's a shame you passed it up.
It's easy enough to just be like "look, I have something to tell you. When I first met you I told you that I was gay because I honestly thought you were way too hostile for my liking. I'm sorry that I've developed this relationship with you under false pretenses, but I'd like you to know that I am straight, and I have come to really respect and enjoy you." Not only does it clear up misconceptions, but she'll probably think it's romantic.
Long distance relationships, especially ones requiring flights, are craptacular however. Good luck!

I went up the mountain but i didnt know how to ski, then i saw her she had the same problem, then we held each other and slowly came down. After then we became close friends then i started liking for some fucking reason, but i never told her BTW she was hot

That is where you fail. French is for pussies and french people are pussies. But that does suck dude. Good luck, and tell her the truth.

Re: Hey you guys, I met someone awesome, but there's a few problems.
I was in an somewhat similar situation a few weeks ago when I was on a study abroad program in Spain. It was probably the best month of my life when I was there with her, and I definitely thought it was more than a crush. The thing is that she lives on the east coast and I live in California. We've been in touch over the past few weeks, but the spark just seems to have gone away. Long distance relationships are hard, even if she does forgive you for the whole gay thing. :(

Good, you told her you were gay. Step 1 is complete.
Now for Step 2, tell her you have AIDS.
