Teacher/Student Sexual Relationships
We have all heard the story of the teachers who had sex with their students. But, no one has came up with a good reason why it is inappropriate, other then statutory rape, which I think most would agree that it is just some bullshit some parents came up with because they didnt want their daughters to sleep with that guy they didnt like. What is the problem with a teacher sleeping with their students, I had a pretty hot teacher back in the 5th grade I wouldnt of minded having an intimate relationship with. She had long black curly hair, beautiful green eyes, and a smile that you would have swore brought light on a cloudy day. I believe she was only 22 at the time, everyone absolutely loved her except the other teachers, you could hear them talking about her behind her back, which I believed only made her that much more irresistible. Woo back to the point, there is nothing about a 14 year old student that makes them more innocent then a 21 year old.

Re: Teacher/Student Sexual Relationships
You must be 12, and think you're mature and shit.
I'm not really sure which aspect you're griping about. Children having sex with significantly older partners, or student teacher relationships. But they're both wrong.
Theres a very big difference between a 14 year old and a 21 year old. I'm 23, and I just got out of a relationship with an 18 year old a year or so ago. It was just painful. 14 year olds shouldnt even be having sex in the first place, depending on the individual. The ones who are ready should be able to experiment at their own pace, with people they're own age. They dont need to be taken advantage of by more experienced elders. The two are on completely different levels, and there can never be any sort of connection beyond sheer sex.
Or, you could be talking about the abuse of power between teachers and students. This is likewise wrong/sleezy, but not really on the same level. I'm sure college professors do it on a regular basis. It's inappropriate for anyone in a position of power, whether it be policeman/teacher/doctor/white collar boss, to take advantage of people under them. But hey...by the time you get to the adult world, you should be able to choose for yourself. If you're weak enough to let someone take advantage of you, I don't have any issues with that.

Because if shit doesn't go right in the relationship then its the students grades that suffer.

Actually I'm 21, and I'm completely immature which is why I know I'm atleast right on this one.

I'm gripping about people feeling so self rightoeus that they feel they have the right to put a time limit on love.

A 21 year old can be taken advantage of just as easily, some people never grow up, and their is no way of know if a person is grown up enough for sex. And why does it have to be with people their own age, maybe all the people their own age doesn't interest them, what are they suppose to be with someone they don't love, just because they fit the age criteria.

I'm in no way talking about abusing ones power, but even if you let someones power(other then physical power which at that point you cross over from a simply relationship to full blown rape)intimadate you then it's not the teachers fault you have no one to blame but yourself.

1) You're 21? Okay...just ask yourself this. Whats the youngest you would date? 18?14?10?6?2?
2) You mean an age limit, I think. See number 1.
3) Yes, a 21 year old can be taken advantage of. But at that point...they're reasonably mature sexually. And like you point out in your last paragraph, at that point...if they get suckered into something, then it's their own fault for not knowing any better.
Also, I think you might be a little biased. Every 14 year old boy fantasizes about the hot teacher. But girls are much too naieve/manipulable at that age. A 14 year old boy and a 21 year old girl is just sheer luck for the boy. A 14 year old girl and a 21 year old man is just wrong, on so many levels. They dont even know what they want at that age. Aside from proving how 'mature' they really are('nt).

I personally wouldn't go any younger then 22, but that doesn't mean I want to tell everyone else where the should start. And I think you might be a little bias. You seem to think that girls are more immature then boys at the age of 14, Now here's a big secret you might not know about the only difference between a boy and a girl is that boys have a penis, and girls have a vagina, other then that their really ain't no difference, at most the difference is that girls have more estrogen, and boys have more testoterone, which later we lose do to menophase.

You're 21? And you wouldnt go any younger then 22? Well...good for you, mate. Good for you. Theres something really irritating about younger partners.
But with that said, i'd like you to take a look at the reason why you wouldnt date younger then 22. People change significantly, mentally, during their teen years. Everything changes. But theres just no way, no way, that a 14 year old could begin to be on the same level as a 21 year old. No way.
And i'm not biased. Theres a -lot- of differences between men and women, between girls and boys. Women like to go to the spa, Boys like to play sports. Girls play with barbies, boys play with GI joes. You cant even begin to say they're the same. They're not. They're just not. None of this of terrible importance, mind you. They're just examples. The only point I really mean to make here is that girls are significantly more affected by sex then boys are. Especially at that age. It has the potential to do great damage, and for that reason alone it's wrong. There is no reward to be reaped that can even weigh close to that risk.

Well, that depends...
A teacher sleeping with a student... no problem. Tap that prepubescent ass 'till the cows come home, its awwwight!
Their teacher sleeping with a student, otoh... well, then it gets into issues of the position of caretaker via disciplinary oversight coupled with the difficulties of academic extortion in the course of sexual exploitation...
That is a much more thorny issue.
Moral of the story? When teaching kindergarden - shag your coworkers' class, not your own.

Re: Teacher/Student Sexual Relationships
IMO, it's "ok" for boy do female teacher. As it seem young male(12-15 years old) are more...sexually mature, ya know? They can pop a boner and stick in, simple as that. Girl do male teacher is no-no. It can be very painful emotionally and physically for them.
However, in the eye of law....

It's true, the ability to get an erection automatically implies an understanding for the emotional consequences of sleeping with an authority figure who is supposed to be teaching you.
How is it emotionally different for a girl to "do," as you say, a male teacher? Just because boys seem to be more sexually motivated doesn't mean they can't be hurt the same.
In school, I didn't get sexual gratification from teachers. I climbed poles and ropes :) Aaah, that was the best feeling ever.

Re: Teacher/Student Sexual Relationships
Yeah this happened at my high school with this chick I'd give a 7.5 and was 16 and a teacher who was also a bouncer/security guard at a nightclub and was bout 30. Apparently the girls parents knew about it and everything and the scandal broke to the school/media.
I got interviewed with a couple friends when we were drinking a case or 2 of beers on the wall of a library close to the school. The reporters needed to talk to someone and they wouldn't find anyone who said anything useful so we were interviewed while drinking in front of a camera. I forget most of what was said but it sounded good to them so they kept probing me and laughed when I'd make a joke. Then they left to try to find a yearbook and we continued drinking.
Anyways, the teacher got fired and went back to security and then obscurity. I walked into his classroom once for some reason during break and him and the girl were tossing a ball back and forth which I thought was weird but I didn't think anythin of it. I didn't hear anythin til like a month before the scandal broke and I wasn't even sure which english teacher they were talking about.
The girl was definately hittable.

Re: Teacher/Student Sexual Relationships
Silent MindI'm not saying that 14 year olds are as mature as 21 years old, because their not, I'm just saying that some 21 year olds are as immature as 14 year olds, but 14 year olds get this self righteous feeling when they break up with the teacher, like it was the teachers fault, but here's the inpass we have come to you believe that 14 year olds are to innocent for sex, I on the other hand don't think that 14 year olds are anymore innocent then a 21 year old. Science does say that 14 years olds brains are still developing, and don't know no better, yet somehow these are the same teens who get jobs, while going to school at the same time to help their family out, where 21 years olds are out on the streets selling drugs. Now tell me how are 14 year olds anymore innocent then 21 years olds.
