Experience vrs. None
I know I've made a lot of threads lately... But eh, I'm bored, so fuck you.
I've had a serious relationship before... I'm talking the whole "first love" junk. The girl I had the relationship with already had a "first love" before me.
I put every effort into the relationship, trying everything to make it work... Total devotion.
We didn't make it... A lot of time has passed and now I have a new girlfriend.
I'm her first serious relationship. I can see her getting attached, I can see her doing everything I use to do. It's so weird being on this side of the relationship.
I find myself not being as optimistic in this new relationship... Ever since I had my "first love", I just sort of see this in a more cynical light.
Anyone else feel the same? That you've been through all this already, and you just don't have the energy to give it your all anymore?
It's no fair to my current girlfriend... I hate it.

Re: Experience vrs. None
Your going to have to break up with her, and then get back together, I don't know why people don't like that first relationship feeling but they don't so if you break up with her and get back together that felling will go away

I know what you mean, but the "first love" feeling had to happen to her sometime, right? Anyway, try being a little more optimistic about it.

If you can't put in enough effort, then you shouldn't be in a relationship dude.

Re: Experience vrs. None
(To sum all that up, your first time was with a chick who'd been around the block, and now your with some girl who doesn't know anything at all when it comes to sex and now is insanely attached because you were her first, and her lack of experience is a real turnoff)
Close?
This same exact same thing happened to me. Dump your new girlfriend before you wind up going out with her for months and months and finally having to pull your head out of your ass and realize you don't even like her that much and have to dump her and smash her little fairy tale world to pieces.

Re: Experience vrs. None
after my first love relationship, i saw relationships just as dating, not really loving each other, and doesnt it suck when you date someone with no relationship experience? i dated this girl a while ago that i really liked, but she didnt know how to act like she was in a relationship?

I dont necesarilly see why thats such a bad thing.
When did there become such a thing as 'the right way to have a relationship'?
Im with my first girlfriend ever, and I've taken the cynical approach.
She's been with way more guys than I previously thought, but I can see her doing what you're describing.
She's putting alot of effort into the relationship and she claims to "reallly really really love" me. We've been together just about 2months now.
