ok, i know it's waaaayyy in advance here, but i like to get things planned out..here goes

i've been with my girlfriend a good 6 months now, going great..and we just bought up the subject of what we can do at Christmas, as we were listening to a song that reminded me of going to London when i was a kid at Christmas

now, this will be the last Christmas I spend with this girl, as she is going back to Germany the next year, and I really wanted to get her something special..and I know the perfect shop for it..it's just being able to see what she wants without giving the game away, if you catch my drift..

I really want to get her either a bracelet, necklace or a ring with her name (or something similar) engraved on it..it's just a case of having to see what she likes without going "uh yeah what ring size are you" or "what do you prefer? ....."

any ideas?

a ring's tricky because of sizing etc. it's not just a measurement, it's an actual size (i'm N1/2)

for my birthday my boyfriend got me a silver bracelet, with a small heart charm on it that had my name engraved on one side and his name and my birth day date on the other. it's definitely not what i would have chosen for myself but i love it, because it's from him. i nearly cried when a link came loose and it came off and i thought i'd broken it. we'd been going out about 8 months when he got it for me.
