A girl and I were supposed to go out about a week ago, but something came up and I was going out of town the next day for a about a week.

Well, I just got back and thus have Friday and Saturday to do something. Would it seem too desperate to try to go out again this Saturday, or should I wait and aim for sometime during the week or next weekend.

Like, there tends to be a time frame for calling people/asking them out...I would like to just say 'fuck it', but there does seem to be this unspoken law of timing your calls.

On a related note, I'm thinking I could call Sunday or during the week and set up a date on a weeknight or something...good idea or no?

well if you were supposed to go out last week, but something came up that made that impossible, and now you're back in town...i think itd be reasonable to give her a call and say 'hey sorry i couldnt make it last week, lets get together this weekend.'

if you dont call her, nothing will happen.
if you do call her, something might happen. might not. either way, you dont have much to lose.

From my experience it is, i tend not to buy into the mind games as such(not trying to offend here). I just tend to not think about that sorta stuff, like the whole boy girl politics and do what feels right. Depends on the girl though and it can be a tough girl if you dont really know her that well.

IMO, my options are to call her sometime today and see if she wants to go out tomorrow, to wait until next week and arrange something on a weeknight, or wait and arrange it for next Friday/Saturday. That type of waiting seems really stupid and a waste to me, so...shit, I might just say to hell with it and call regardless.

don't wait too long to call her....you're probably not the only guy she's given her number out to. if you dont call her, someone else will, and she'll do something with him.
your best bet is to call today and try to arrange something for saturday or sunday. just play it cool.
and about playing the games...whether you want to or not, you have to.....otherwise youll lose, because you didnt know you were even in the game she was playing.

Stay on that shit, as long as u dont keep talking to her several times a day or keep annyoing her ull be alright. You let her go and dont talk to her u should just sign her off the list cause she'll be gone..

I mean yea ill wait btwn dates to talk to a girl like might text/call her after hanging out to talk a lil bit then i wait like 3-5 days to talk to them again, just not to seem on the antsy/wanting side of talking to them.
