Default Actually asking a girl out.

So, I'm 15 and I'd actually like to hear how you ask a girl out. Before I start, I'd like to say I actually had a few girlfriends before, but not serious at all (Think 2-6 weeks kinda thing). Gotten as far as a chaste kiss =/ (bummer, huh?). Though there is a good reason - girls that catch my eye are few and far in between.

I'd rather not ask anyone I know because that's just embarassing, but how do you ACTUALLY ask a girl out? I get the whole talk and say "you busy friday night" and stuff but somehow, I get the feeling it isn't right at my age to say something like that.

Also, on the matter of 'picking' up the girl, how would I do this with no car and no parents willing to take me?

Well I guess you have to befriend her first, because otherwise why would she want to meet you?

I think that the best way to let someone know who you are is to get them on msn, or start texting them. Eventually (if you are smooth enough) you can say something like:

"I'm pretty bored, want to go shopping?"

The girl will automatically say yes. It works trust me.

Also keep in mind, the player who gets rejected the most is the player who leaves with most numbers.

Good luck.

Ahhhhh, 15...I remember that...No car, parents wouldn't take us places and the girls always looked too young too get into the pub with me (even though they were older!)

The easiest way I found to asking girls out was get friendly with them but before they give you a chance to label you a friend, thus negating any chance you have of something more, was to just say "Do you wanna go out sometime?" or something situational like "Oh you like heavy metal too huh? There's a gig going on at such and such a place...Fancy going with me?"

There's no right or wrong way to do it, my friend...Different things work with different girls. Some like it when you act shy, some like it when you're confident...Hell, I had one who agreed after some trying when I said "Look...You and me are going to this poxy school disco thing together...Be ready for 7!" That was an interesting night indeed!

Just be comfortable and confident and accept that sooner or later you'll get a denial. Denials just add to experience, mate. I've had my share of them and I'm pretty good at getting a girl nowadays. Ask the girl I got with the day I moved back to my dad's place after a bad break up! ;)

Man, I've become so asexual lately it's ridiculous. I'm not gonna pass up a throwdown or a blowjob (believe me, I haven't been), but the desire to actually go out of my way to meet women is not there.

I don't meet many anymore because I'm busy with work and training for boxing. My "friend" invited me to a beer festival, and all I said was "I don't drink anymore". I think I'll call her tomorrow and tell her to come over for some pre-drinking. Man I'm smooth [/sarcasm].

So yeah kid, it's all about confidence.

I've also noticed that the less I go out of my way to attract women (to the point that lately I've been trying to get them to stop bugging me when I go out), they come to me every more viciously. I'm not kidding. I'll be out talking with my co-worker about our job or something, and a woman will come up to us. When she gets rejected, 10 more will come, as if they're thinking "hey, she got rejected, if I go and get accepted, I'll be socially better than her. WHoo!"

Whatever. As long as I'm regularly getting some, I don't give a shit about relationships. My idea of asking a girl out is: "We'll go back to your place, but I'll leave at 5am. Ok, let's hurry it up".

Damn, so I guess that whole 'you busy friday night' thing is actually right. Oh well, I guess the awkwardness is just the whole teenage thing going on.

So ... any idea of what do actually do about the date thing? How to get there, where to go, etc. I live in the suburbs in New Jersey with a pipsqueak mall.

As another 15 year old, I agree with you.

its tough at your age....

i dont know your situation.....but basically, find some sort of social event that you and your friends are going to attend, and invite her. if your going to a party say "hey, me and my friends are going to this party on friday, you should come." or some other shit....even if you all just hang out somewhere lame, invite her along. but dont say just her, make sure its clear that she can bring a few friends....she'll be nervous and will need the support of them...and your friends will probably appreciate it.

I would have to agree with a couple of comments and go with the social gathering at your age. The girls like it when they see you in action, and afterwards you can invite them to walk with you to get something to eat or whatever. Or it may all end up that you guys are watching and movie and you get to sit beside her.

It's all about confidence man, girls like it when they don't have to do anything and shit is done for them. They like a guy who makes things happen. So invite her out somewhere, if you want it to be a date then let her know, if it's just a gathering she'll probably still get the idea.

In regards to your car situation, you need to cast the light differently. Sure you don't have a car, but probably neither does any of the other guys she's dated (unless she's into older guys, which some are). Instead of being like.. um, I don't have a car... . Suggest something that doesn't require much travel, like... tell her you'd like to walk with her through the park or go to this place (near her house, or your school, or some fixed location) so you can bus/walk there and then start the dating. There are many ways to turn a shitty situation into one that doesn't matter as much.

My opinion? Social gatherings to start off, be calm, casual, and in control. Then from there you can move into a private setting and the fun begins.

Soon enough you will grow up a bit kid, and you will realize that "asking out" in the traditional sense doesnt actually happen much, usually you end up with some random drunk chick at a party, and you have your fun for the night. Maybe she'l call you again, and you can party more. Just waitll you get to college.

Start drinking man

be like "ay bay bay" "why you frontin girl" "you know you want this"

im 15.. a couple of months ago i realised to really not to give a fuck about what girls think about me. i just act normal fun and always smile.

when i see a girl i like i just watch her, and if she sees me looking and keeps on looking, i keep eye contact for liek 3 seconds and then break it... then after about 10 seconds i look again and if we get eye contact again, i smile and wait a bit.. then if i feel ok i go talk to her....

or if i see a girl i like and i know someone who knows her i make it kinda obvious how i feel about her and let people know so that someone tells her so i see how she responds.

That's the nice, reassuring truth. Though sometimes it's the unfortunate truth if she simply doesn't like you.

The way I work, I don't give women enough time to make up their mind if they like me or not. That's for the dates to decide.

I'm pretty attractive, so I use that to my advantage. I run into the picture, act confident, strike a conversation, get pulled away (either I have to go, an important phone call, or a friend pulls me away) and in doing so, I make her long to finish the conversation (assuming I gave her a good conversation). Then I merely ask for her number, or ask for a date (coffee works best), depending which I find better.

This is the most ridiculous of all the ridiculous suggestions I've seen in this thread. That isn't even cliche-bad, its just bad.

If they like you it won't matter how you ask them out.

I was reading this thread and thinking about what I was going to say, and then I came across this, and it was just really true. So really, the question you want to be asking is, how to make a girl like you.

In my expirience, thats really, really simple. Listen more than you talk and when you do talk say things that make them laugh, be comforting when they're sad, and just be there. Eventually you're so worked into their lives that they can't see it without you (or something to that effect but less badly worded). Thats when you make your move, whatever it is, and it really doesn't matter if you've done right.

Just be sweet, because guys that are smug and confident or assholes or clownish are all over, but if you can be the person that they're totally safe with and totally confident in, than you win. The only catch is this has to be genuine.

15 sucks, 16 will suck (unless you get a driver's license, which will make it go from absolute shit to still pretty shitty), 17 sucks, 18 will probably suck ass (I'm 17), and so forth. I think until everyone hits 23, and are out of college or at least grown up somewhat, dating scenes will be full of awkward moments and you'll have a lot to look back on that will make you cringe with embarassment.

Shit, I can think of many moments that happened a couple of years ago that make me want to eat a .45, life is shitty like that.

Morale of this post? Who gives a shit about how you ask a girl out, you'll grow to hate yourself more and more even if she doesn't reject you. So go do whatever.

EDIT: If you're hideous or socially retarded, I'll give you my simple step by step guide for acquiring decent pussy:

1) Get a good X or blow dealer

2) Buy said drugs, enough for 2 people to get fucked up all night

3) Find the hot speed slut of your school and tell her you have a few rolls or an 8 ball, and invite her over

4) Fuck her

5) Hate yourself for using drugs to get girls, and repeat steps 1 through 5

Haha you're so right and no one understands.

15-17 sucks (15 sucked and 16 sucks so far, even with a license) because you can't do anything you want to without lying at least to some extent. We wanna get fucked up and such and it's very awkward trying to balance your lies and then on top of that managing a world unbeknownst to your parents.

So I'm gonna just chill. The last hookup I had fell into my lap I was super-throwed on Xanax and weed and I yelled out some obnoxious shit that you might find people joking about in this thread. Literally, "let's fuck bitch" if not worse. (those familiar with Xanax will understand how I don't know what i really said for sure.) BUT I QUIT using pills and silly shit... anyway I didn't get to fuck but I got the goods. End of story, asking out is ridiculous because people in relationships now have probably been friends for a while or just wanna put a title to their fuck buddy status and the girl doesn't wanna be a slut.
