Can we turn rep off?
Please?
It is of my opinion that it means nothing.
A poster can determine whether or not someone is worth listening to or not themselves quite easily (avoids saying anything about sambob and 'nappy' ;) )
It is misleading and a general pain in the ass. You get abuse in it, you get people asking for postitive rep back you are judged on how much rep you have.
It's a nuisance. Admin please consider this at least.

Re: Can we turn rep off?
I've heard that you often only take action on closing a thread , or flaming a user, after someone gives you negative rep. :p

No and no you confused it with "banning someone"
Get it right next time and once isn't often and this isn't an admission of guilt just what I heard too.

Re: Can we turn rep off?
Reputation points themselves are stupid. We've all seen how they can be abused, and how some of the mosth worthless of posters seem to have 4-5 green boxes.
But, it's nice to be able to tell someone you like them, or like what they have to say, or to thank them for contributing to the forum so well :)
It's also nice to be able to tell certain posters that theys being utter wankers.
Allthough, I havent actually checked my own rep in a long, long time. The nice comments make me happy, but there will allways be one random uncalled for spitefull comment that can severely fuck up my whole day. (yeah, I'm emersed in totse, deal with it)

Re: Can we turn rep off?
Rep points for specific forums might be good. That way rep whoring from HB can stay in HB.

Re: Can we turn rep off?
Trousersnake, for someone that hates rep, don't you think it's a little hypocritical to give me negative rep simply because I owned your ass in a thread?

What did you get?
I'm quite partial to the number 6, myself.
Mmmm, chalupa...

My girlfriend always gets that.
I got some tacquitos, a quesadilla, and two chili cheese burritos. Excellent.
I usually get two spicy chicken crunchwrap supremes.

Re: Can we turn rep off?
Well, looks like it's been removed. I'm sort of sad to see the "who's viewing" feature go, though.
