Teen Angst/Seperation
Hello All,
This is the first S&A appropriate situation I have and I hope someone will be able to identify with this.
The thing is that there is this girl that I felt I've loved for a long while. Awhile being 4 or 5 years-I'm 16 by the way. But this girl and I never had a "Boyfriend/Girlfriend" relationship. It was more like off and on flirting, even though shes known Ive had feelings for her.
The Separation part comes in, in the fact that some fucked up stuff involving her family (not her), and shes having to move with them because of that. Apparently shes known this for a while and just waited to tell me today by IM'ing-which kinda pissed me off. It was one of those
Her: Hey
Me: Hey yourself
etc......
Her:well I'm moving
Then what really set me off is she tried to put in some BS small talk. And then I said some stuff to her I probably should not have.
I'm probably never gonna see her again, but I really don't care anymore. Even though shes moving to a town and hour and a half away.
But anyway I'm pretty much over it but I'm interested in your views, Jack and Yoyo in-particular
cheers,
g

Re: Teen Angst/Seperation
I try not to fall in love with people until I'm sure that they love me too.
EX: Me and my gf. And we've been dating 7 years now :).

Re: Teen Angst/Seperation
Uh, if you're over it already then I don't think you actually loved her.
But either way, it's probably best to just move on. She obviously never wanted anything more than friendship, so why waste your love on her?

Re: Teen Angst/Seperation
I don't get it. Your thread title implies angst, but this seems pretty angst-less... And why the fuck are you posting this? You don't really seem to be asking a question, but looking for other people's views on something that you've already gotten over. Like really, what's the point?
