I'm not bringing this up because my girl broke up with me due to pressure from her friends...but I'm not discounting it...I'm just bringing it up because it happens all the time, and might help some of you younger guys out.

for those of you guys who don't know, there is something I refer to as 'single girlfriend syndrome'. what that is is this: when you are dating a girl who has single girlfriends, beware. The single friends are bitter, jealous bitches. They want a man, but they don't have one. and their good friend does. so they don't have someone to go out chasing men with. they will start talking to their girlfriends who have men (your girlfriend), and try to convince them to end shit with you....so they will have a wingman/buddy to go date/chase guys with....only until they actually get one. I've seen it too many times. If your girlfriend or girl you are dating has a VERY close friend who is single....watch out. try to hook her up ASAP. all she will do is poison your relationship until she has a man to occupy her. I've seen it too mnay damn times...fell victim to it too....even though the girl seems to care about you, you can't compete with a lifelong girl friend. one of the biggest hazards to dating. bitter single women.

Alas, I too have fallen victim to this. Only it was because of my best friend which sucked. She was jealous when I started dating this girl and went out of her fucking way to ruin the relationship. She still wonders why I don't talk to her anymore.

it goes both ways mate. guys always put pressure on their friends who have chicks. my mates have tried to do it with my past girlfriends and ive probably been guilty of doing it to them. you just have to be a strong enough person to not do everything your friends tell you to. if you really like the person who your with what your friends say shouldn't matter.

I wish there were just more "real" people out there who aren't just puppets being controlled by the people who they think are friends. And yes this goes for girls and guys.

It seems that most people who are single feel some sort of resentment towards those who have significant others. I think that's just a natural part of life that we all have to deal with, unfortunately. Most people desire a companion, though not everyone will have one, so they will try to pull you down into their sea of lonely misery with them, because they know they are destined to jack-off to release their sexual frustrations rather than release their sperm into pink, delicious pussy.

I'd like to think i have this kinda thing under control. I've got to know my girls best friend quiet well and have even got her to say she will be my character witness if things go bad.

about this thing going both ways, you're right. but I think it affects women more than men. When my best friend and roommate in college was in a serious relationship it kinda sucked at times because I had sort of lost my 'wingman' when we went out. It's easy to approach girls if you got a buddy, harder by yourself. Though there were times I wished he was single so we could go chasing tail, I never wanted him to break up with his girl and never said anything bad about her to him to try to get them to split...he managed that on his own well enough after a year or so.... I know everyone is different, but I think that women are worse in general in this aspect.
