Pennyroyal Tea?
I'm in a bit of a fix. I'm 17, in my last year of high-school and haven't had sex with my current girlfriend. We have mucked around and stuff but as soon as I ejaculate we're both really careful.
But she's 6 days late for her period. She only told me yesterday, and it got me pretty scared. Logically I know she shouldn't be, but I guess there is a chance.
So I bought some pregnancy tests, and she'll use one tomorrow. But my question is about pennyroyal tea. Supposedly if you use fresh pennyroyal leaves and some other herbs, it cleanses the uterus or something like that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
So has anyone experienced or does anyone have knowledge about this and whether it will work to kill whatever cells are forming there?
Thanks, I'm shitting my pants right now.

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
As long as you didn't penetrate her, then why be paranoid about a pregnancy?
although the test would be a good thing, the human body can just do things like that.
First time my girlfriend and I had sex, she was late a few days, and got incredibly paranoid, you should have little to no worries, but I guess it is a lot worse for your girl. The pregnancy tests will make her feel better.
I haven't heard much about pennyroyal tea, but I imagine it not doing much, depending on where you live you can get a pill that is suppose to do the same thing, but it has to be around 48 hours since the act for it to work.
But honestly, don't worry, it's probably nothing.

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
If you haven't come inside her then the chances of a 'transfer' pregnancy are so slim as to be almost impossible.
But getting a test is always the right thing to do. So props to you there, good one kid.
DO NOT WASTE TIME with herbal solutions. If the test does come up positive then phone your local chapter of Planned Parenthood (or whatever they are called where you are) and find out what options exist.

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
Ok thanks guys. Yeah no I haven't penetrated her. Not even close. Hahaha, she won't let me. Dang.
But yeah, every time I come, I put my pants on almost immediately. Thanks Jack, made me feel heaps better. I needed to talk to someone.
The guy at the chemist gave me such a filthy look too.

There are always arseholes out there. But don't let them get you down. You're acting like an adult, doing the RIGHT thing and taking responsibility for your actions.
Ain't nothing you need to feel ashamed for.
Get the test and go talk to Planned Parenthood. They may be Fem-Nazis and intensely Pro-choice but they will give you all the help and information you need.
Just don't waste time if the test is positive, almost everywhere has a time limit .
And if if had be done then it is best done as early as possible.

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
True. She's pro-life. But she said it's up to me... I'm not going to force her into anything. But I really don't need a kid. Here's hoping.
Kind of ironic though. The one relationship I have where we don't have sex... Hahaha.

Only because he is secretly jealous. I like to shout at the chemists that she needs the pill, the morning after one! Usually the female ones will titter, if that's still a word. Easier when you have a girlfriend who is open about her love of the cock though I guess.
Without penetration you should be sitting pretty, on the safe side though you should look at the test before she does. If it becomes a little smiley face you should immediatly kick her in the stomach.

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
Pennyroyal tea as an abortificant is now considered risky. It can harm the woman, as well as her chances of ever having children, apparently. I can't say how true this is, but it's a highly volatile herb.
I don't think you should be worrying about pregnancy. If your mrs is young, then her period is going to be a bit irregular anyway, perhaps. And if you're REALLY worried, just take a test. Do that before taking such measures.
I've heard parsley tea can also induce miscarriage in the very early stages of development, but I'm just curious about natural treatments - I don't exactly recommend it.

By their very nature herbal abortions are risky, even when administered by a very experienced herbalist and they should certainly NEVER BE TRIED AT HOME. Unlike modern abortion drugs, herbal remedies are 'untargeted' and basically poison the whole of her body.
However my main reason for advising against even considering a herbal abortion in this case is the time factor. You'd first have to find a really good herbalist prepared to perform an abortion and not knowing what the times limits are where he is etc etc.
Don't get wrong, I'm a big fan of herbal remedies for a lot of things but this is one incidence where no one should be playing around with it after having done half an hour's googling.

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
If shes pregnant its because she was getting dick from someone else. HTF can you go out with her for like a year without fucking? What's the point?

Re: Pennyroyal Tea?
Haha, yeah she was joking about the whole stomach punching thing. I wouldn't do it anyway.
Delivered the test to her last night.
Came out negative.
Finally, I can sleep in peace. Yeah I'm not exactly an experienced herbalist. Haha, if only.
It's hard sometimes to go without sex, but I care about her, and her morals. So it's not so hard. Thanks a bunch guys.
Oh yeah, and she has a cyst on one of her ovaries... And she's not supposed to eat certain things. Which she did. So that's probably why.

You need to understand what "pro-life" Americans are about, Glasgowsweeman. They're against abortions for poor folk or black folk or heathen Eye-talians. Those rules weren't made for temporarily embarrassed white girls.
It's like when Bush prates about "personal responsibility". He means for everybody but him.
On the other hand, Laura's the only one in the family who ever killed a guy.

Exactly. Although I'm Australian. Same thing applies. The rules don't apply to them.
Actually she was only going to do it for me.
