Firs Time Assembling Rifle; Looking for Pointers
Full first post recovered from the forum's own RSS feed - reply count unknown.
So after seeing HIFH's post regarding the CA legal stock for an AR-15 (www.californiarifles.com). Seeing that makes me realize that there's a way around the CA AWB. However, I need some pointers before I start investing money into this project.
As I understand it I need 3 things to make the rifle:
The Stock
Upper Receiver
Lower Receiver
Do I need anything else?
Obviously the stock is taken care of, through the website. And I've found a stripped (what do they mean by stripped? Sorry for the ignorance. This is my first time even contemplating doing something like this) CA legal lower receiver on GunBroker.com. However, I'm having a hard time finding an explicitly legal Upper Receiver. Are all of the upper receivers CA legal, thus they don't bother listing that? Judging by the price this could be something I easily afford.
