I just wanted to come home and take some vicodin tonight, so I kind of ditched a few of my friends and left my girl's house earlier than i had to... It's been forever and I just wanted the sweet fix. Is that so bad?

No man you've got it all wrong. I don't do that a lot. I mean, there's really nothing going on now anyways. And sometimes, I just want to be alone. I like to chemically enhance those times.

opiates are tricky i know it would be hard but to stay safe try to limit yourself to once a week

I don't have a steady source, so every like once in a while i get enough to get high a couple days then stop for a month, or until i find it again, which is often a longer period..

You're fine. I like to do the same occasionally. As long as it doesn't start interfering with your relationships and causing yourself harm, you're good as gold.

Solitude's fine dude. I did what you did last night. I was beat (honestly) from work and just didn't feel like going out to this party a few of my friends were going to. I just relaxed at my house and popped a few percs. The point is even if I didn't have 'em I still would stayed in.

Don't beat yourself up over it. It might be a problem if you specifically ditched your friends and girl so you could bathe in opiate bliss :)

I think it's okay. I love my girl, but sometimes I just need to chill with myself. And those times with myself can be chemically enhanced or not, it's all the same.

But like the others have said, if you start seeing a trend I would begin to rethink your priorities.
