I was doing some thinking back to when reggie_love was a wee lad, and suddenly something struck me, I used to not be a gun nut! In fact, I used to be passivley pro-"gun control"! :cue horror music:

Yep. I used to think the 2nd amendment reffered to regular armies, like the national guard. I used to think that people who regularly went to firing ranges were "rednecks" or liked to "hurt innocent animals". I remember thinking "uh oh" when I heard that the AWB expired. I remember knowing that my dad had lots of guns, and thinking he was weird because of it.

And then he took me shooting, and everything changed.

All my views were based on ignorance, and all it took to reverse them in an instant was to actually fire a gun.

I now own several firearms, and am looking to get some more very soon, and even believe that it's every American's duty to own a rifle.

Bottom line is, although it's been said countless times before:
TAKE PEOPLE SHOOTING
TAKE PEOPLE SHOOTING
TAKE PEOPLE SHOOTING

Only you can prevent idiocy, so hop to it! Before it's too late!

I'm currently trying to find a socially acceptable way to take members of the female species shooting, any tips?
