I've been dating my girlfriend for more than a year now. It is normal for us to hang out alone everyday and chill, cook, play video games, make love, etc. Even though we've been fighting a lot lately. We're generally pretty laid back.

Yesterday when I got off work at 6 I went to her house and she had a few guys and her best girlfriend over. She never hangs out with guys and she knows her friend doesn't like me very much. For some reason I got a little mad/jealous and left to hang out and go party with some of my friends. I also ignored her phone call and ended others abrubtly.

You probably should have just been calm about it and told her you were going out to hang out with your friends. Talk to her about it later. Now I'm sure they talked about you and how you're a jealous boyfriend which is not good at all because they might warp her opinion of you.

Maybe a little assholey...But fuck it...I'd be pissed off if my girl was unusually surrounded by guys and had a friend there who didn't like me.

See, the problem might be that you guys spend all this time together and you say you've been fighting recently.

Sometimes it's better to have a little seperation, it can make the time you do spend together better. I know if I had to see my girlfriend ALL the time, things would probably be a lot less passionate than they are now.

Your girlfriend might want some space, and you should respect that. Going out might have been the best thing, however, acting like a child and ignoring phone calls and such is a dick thing to do.

I would suggest you talk to her about it like an adult and mention that you were curious about her recent activity. Sounds like you two haven't talked all that much about this sort of thing, and hang out alone a lot. This may need to change! Every couple works differently, but she may want things to be a different way and you're just going to have to be mature and talk to her about it.

If you two have been together that long, and you're accustomed to mostly laid back time as a couple I mean. She should at least let ya know beforehand when she's gonna be hanging out with some guys. If you and her were fighting though , she might have done it just to push your buttons. (oh wait girls never do that!) Anyway in situations like that, try to hide your emotions and act normal.

1) Look in pants.
2) Got a penis?

If yes: You're not wrong.

If no: Get off the computer and go make me dinner.

Nah man it's perfectly within your rights. As far as i'm concerned, that behavior is as communicative as words could have been. It's just more emotional and less subtle. Just apologize and explain how you felt. Anger is a good thing if not over-used.
