So, me and this girl went out for a little over a year, I was her first real boyfriend. We did sexual things, never had sex. Over the past week she was acting different, and finally last night I asked her what was wrong, and she told me she thought she didnt love me like she used to, but more like a brother.

AGGGGGGGGH!!!! I even got the whole "Its not you its me, you're great, Im an idiot" spiel. She claims I have done nothing to make her change her mind about this, and she keeps saying shes not even sure, but she wants me to be with someone who is. She said she thinks maybe she just wants a break. I know this is all bullshit. Can anyone really explain what the whole "Love you like a brother its my fault" really means? No Bullshit? What can I do to win her back totse? Any advice anyone?

Once a girl gets that whole "love you like my brother" mind-set, you may as well move on. She's never going to view you as anything else. Trust me... I'm a girl and I've done it many a time. The guys still make me think "brother" not "lover".

you can't really do much at all about something like that, unless you sever ties for long and try to make her love you again in another way. but that probably wouldn't work, i expect she'd move on.
if you really want, you could try acting less of a friend and more of a boyfirned to see if it helps at all

The girl i had been dating for 7 months comes and tells me that she doesn't love me as much as I love her...actually just that she doesn't love me. and she needs space/wants a break. all that means, in both your situation and mine, is that it's fucking over.

i'll give you the same advice everyone gave me. move on. forget about her. It was really hard for me to do that, especially the first week, i still wanted her back, bad. Now I don't. well, i would like to have her, but i know that won't happen, and i dont dwell on it.

the only thing you can do to even try to get her back is this: don't call her, ever. Since she ended it on her terms, that gave her the power. Shes probably expecting you to be broken up and upset over this shit, even if you are you cant let her know that. she'll be expecting you to call/IM/text/email her. don't give her what she wants. it'll confuse her. Then start talking to other girls, and let her find out. could make her jealous and want you again. or it could blow up in your face. but thats about all you can do.
