.....alright, so I saw this movie SHOOTER, about a scout sniper, and I think it has lots of holes and I'm hoping you'll fill em'

1. Bob Swager (our hero....) uses sugar to treat his wounds and makes a syringe with salt water as the main feed and it saves him...

2. Bob Swager makes tear gas, pipe bombs & napalm from store materials with "devistating" effects ((the pipe bomb made with black powder is able to kill the bad guys who appear to wear armour, the napalm is the size of a waterbottle and makes explosions reaching 50 ft, and the tear gas effects the bad guys who wear masks))

3. The end scene sees the iconic "open the gas valve and run" sequence, which destroys the entire house (from previous thread, it's not POSSIBLE, or it's one hell of a pipe)

4. All of the explosives are set off simultaneously from a pretty good distance

.....no I am not making a movie, this MOVIE already came out, I was WONDERING if anyone knows which parts are plausible, and any extra information would help....

^^Well, when I was a kid, some dude pulled the plug on himself, by opening up the gas, and just let the apartment fill up...
Naturally, he died, which was what he intended.
The thing is, at some point the gas level eventually reached the magical 4% (IIRC), and then his fridge must've started or something.
The result was that all the windows in the nearby apartments, need replacing, so I'd say that there's a shred of truth -but nothing more, in #3 as well...

But, I'm sure it has taken quite some time before there was enough gas to result in a reason to replace the windows.

Most movies are not realistic at all. Most people go to the movies to escape from reality, they don't care about realism, they just want to be entertained.

Anyway a gas leak can make a large explosion. I was on a snowboarding trip once and a house near the place we were staying had a natural gas leak and the house exploded. I saw it on the news that night and there was nothing left but a couple of twisted girders.

Natural gas disasters can be devastating, Google around about the Ghislenghien explosion, happened here in Belgium.
