So i really want my girl to go on the pill. - Page 2
So i really want my girl to go on the pill.
The only excuse that she can give me is that is not natural. Can you help a guy out by giving me some advise on what to tell her.

That's not an excuse, the only reason not to want to take birth control is because she wishes to get pregnant
I started taking it long before my boyfriend and I started having sex, or even discussing it. It was something that mattered and was important to me.
Your "naturalist" girlfriend obviously feels differently about her sexual health, if she's going to pull that shit tell her to get an IUD, hassle free birth control with no hormones being put into your body.
But I personally just think you should get a new girlfriend, you know one who cares if she gets pregnant or not.

She wants to get pregnant because she doesn't want to go on the pull?!? Wow, you are brainless. Of course, the only way to avoid pregnancy is to put artificial hormones in your body. /sarcasm
The pill isn't the only way to go, there's so many birth control options nowadays. Tell her to educate herself about them, maybe she'll find one she and her body approve of.

Birth control pills affect women in more ways than just "no babies".

Just because you don't want to wear a condom...
Seriously, she's letting you fuck her. So just man up and slap on a rubber and some spermicide foam. Less than 1% chance of pregnancy.

You'd think the bitch would have learned from those "close calls". And Jills Nipple, I MUST be brainless because I don't want to get pregnant at 18 and am taking the necessary precautions not to, thanks for letting me know!

Thats true, but I find that having a steady flow of estrogen and progesterone in me actually regulates my mood and keeps me happy. When a girl isn't taking any birth control (hormones) she has hormone peaks and drops throughout the month which cause her to be nice some days, and a huge beast on others. I prefer it this way.

Re: So i really want my girl to go on the pill.
What about those little rods that are surgically inserted into the arm? CBF doing my research so I don't know what they're called, but if I remember correctly they're pretty foolproof (if inserted by a competent doctor), relatively non-invasive (the only sign you have one is a tiny rectangular bump about 2mm x 20mm usually between the inner bicep and tricep) and last for about 2 years before you need a new one.
EDIT:: Okay, took 3 seconds on wikipedia, heres what I was talking about http://tinyurl.com/ykfwoo

My girl constantly gets UTI's and Yeast infections. Is it true some girls have to take anti-biotics constantly if they want to have sex? Anyways, she's going on birth control today and im very very happy.

Some women just don't like the excess of hormones./shrug They can always just use condoms or a diaphragm.

Re: So i really want my girl to go on the pill.
She does seem like quite a naturalist if she'll go as far as no Tylenol. I would let her know that you respect her decision first off. If you try and change it without letting her know that you're okay with it in the first place then you may lead yourself into trouble.
If that's the only excuse, chances are you guys haven't really sat down and talked about it like two mature people, which you should be before you start having the chance to make babies IMO.
So let her know that your feelings, and that her actions could seem selfish to some (she demands you put on protection but does nothing herself? cmon folks, that's a bit selfish).
And in the end if she still chooses not to, respect that and work accordingly. If you love her, you can make some sacrifices to have her happy.

How do you know it's because she wants to get pregnant or doesn't care?
For all you know they're using condoms and the reason he wants her on the pill is so he can get a better feeling and doesn't have to worry about wrapping it up.
Maybe she's worried because of health issues? There can be side-effects, you know.
I was wary about going on the pill until I got used to the idea of it, before that I was a little skeptical.
You sound like a real bitch.
"You'd think the bitch would have learned from those "close calls" "
I don't understand why it was necessary to refer to her as "the bitch" when you've not even heard the full story.
Op dude: Why don't you talk to HER why she doesn't want to? I mean yea, she's said she doesn't think it's natural, but ask her what about it worries her and offer to take her tot he doctor to get some reassurance that it won't do her harm.

She might just not want to have a daily commitment like the pill. My girl is on the shot, which she only has to go in and get every few months, and that makes things a bit easier. Although the shot makes her periods a bit unpredictable. So check if that's what she's intimidated by.

Interesting. My approach was, "Which do you want to swallow, the pill or my cum?" The dear girl wound up with both.

Lol at amusing use of 'man up'.
"Using the birth control method your girlfriend likes and you don't is manly. So is not saying anything about it. MAN UP, DO AS YOUR WOMAN SAYS."

Re: So i really want my girl to go on the pill. - Page 2
So if taking the pill is "not natural", then wouldn't having sex and NOT having a baby be unnatural as well? That's what "nature" is. sex = babies I'd just slip the pill in her drink once a month. Or start poking holes in your condoms so when she gets pregnant you can be like "Oops, at least it was natural. Because that's all that matters to you right?"

Re: So i really want my girl to go on the pill. - Page 2
I can see why the pill would seem like the easiest option, but for some girls it doesn't work out so well. I've been on the pill and prefer it to the condom, for many obvious reasons. Having said that, I don't feel it's quite right to have artificial hormones coursing through my body, but that's my personal opinion.
I would go back on the pill, but I swear it made me bad tempered and emotionally fragile due to the different hormone balance.
Don't slate the lady for being reluctant to take the pill; everyone sees it a different way. Remember, the pill effects everyone differently - some people lose their sex drive, others gain weight.. there are many pros, but also many possible cons.

Re: So i really want my girl to go on the pill. - Page 2
I suffer from an excess of estrogen, so the pill GREATLY increases my chances of getting breast cancer. (My mom has breast cancer, BTW) Why should birth control be soley a woman's responsibility? My sister also worries about cancer, so she didn't take the pill. Her husband always used a condom for 12 years before she decided to get pregnant.

Re: So i really want my girl to go on the pill.
Why should it be your responsibility? Because a guy's only two options are to have a doctor go in there and start slicing shit, or strap a fucking rubber thing to his dick. And even those are prone to occasional failure. All a woman has to do is take a pill, get a shot, get an implant, etc.
As for the hormone thing, the solution for that is self control. My hormones dictate that I grab every pretty female I see and fuck her brains out behind the nearest building, but you don't see me doing that, now do you?

You did seem to miss Xiao's point, which is a very important one.
It not about self control. If there's a hormonal inbalance causing someone to feel depressed, or angry, then they're suffering.. regardless of whether or not their actions reflect their emotions.
I manage not to attempt fucking every hot female I say too.
Yep, condoms aint ideal, but neither is the pill for some people. And remember, the pill is only good to use alone in long-term relationships and other safe circumstances.

We been together for more than a year so i consider that a long term relationship.
its just we had 3 condoms break on us (FUCK TROJAN-DO NOT USE IT- THAT HAPPENED WITH FEW OF MY FRIENDS TOO) and it was horrible because one of those times the was late for two weeks before going on her period.
So i dont want to do that again.
i understand the hormonal imbalance but she never been on the pill so she doesn't know how it will affect her.
i might just ask her to try it and if she doesn't like it she can get off of it
Any more suggestions?

Ask if she's okay with getting an IUD or maybe a diaphragm. Neither of those uses hormones and the IUD is like 99.9% effective or something.
