I ask this in this forum b/c I believe your age relates to how you are going to feel about politics.

I am 27 and will be 28 in March.

If you don't work and pay taxes or are even old enough to vote I would like to know.

Also is there any way we can have a kiddy pool type of politics section for those whose opinions cant really be full fledged or matter yet?

The strange thing is, nobody really likes cherry coke, but every once in a while you just have to break down and drink some, you know?

Sure it tastes like carbonated cough syrup, but there's just something about it.

I had some at the Subway on the way to work the other day, and it really got me thinking.

I'm not a big Subway fan, there's too much effort required. I enjoy just going into a crappy restaurant and saying "TWO!!!" and being provided with a complete meal (or a pseudo-edible immitation thereof).

Pretty soon it won't even be a number, it'll just be a sound. You know,
"What would you like?"
"EH!"
"alright will that be--"
"EEEHHHHHHH!!!!"
"got it, I'll super size that for you".

Ideaology interests me. Actual "politics" bore me. It's an illusion of choice and as such I don't vote. Too much time is spent mulling over inane and unimportant issues. World poverty and what to do, as opposed to doing something, etc. Nothing ever changes, we're still at the same point we were years ago. Culture has changed and so have trends and fashions, but that's it. We're still waging "unjust" wars for profit, oppressing peoples freedoms, swapping a little liberty for a little safety. A little dignity for a little oil. Still worrying over the same problems.

Politics is like theatre for the masses. Keep them entertained and they'll forget that they paid an expensive entry fee.

Nah, I'll be 21 in November, I just post trolling comments because I have a personal vendetta against you and WritingANovel that I haven't quite figured out. I also tend to group you two together, but I'm similary unsure of my motives for doing so.

I have yet to see Idiocracy, is that that movie by the guy who did office space? I should rather like to see it, quite a shame that 20th Century Fox decided to cancel its production. Should be quite a promising bit of cinema if I may be so bold to say so myself.

I did however plagarize Mr. Jim Gaffigan, in my previous post, and as such I feel terrible. Let me be the first to apologize not only to Mr. Gaffigan, but to all of you TOTSEans; I'm sorry I had to resort to such disreputabale tactics to fool you all into thinking that I'm funnier than I really am.

I see. It's quite understandable, for I do the same thing too. The way you didn't capitalize your "r" is equally irksome to me and has caused me to have an unutterable aversion to you, which results in a vendetta.

Well, to tell you the truth, even I resent my lack of capitalization a little bit. I also regret the underscore, as I didn't know one could make spaces in one's username at the time.
