There are a couple reasons for this I could think of.

Maybe you realized that you actually love this girl a lot, and that you don't want to rush something because maybe you hold sex as a huge stepping stone in your mind and want to build up to that point and be sure that both of you are in love with each other?

Or maybe you're really just not into sex at all?

Most of the suggestions in this thread other than "Lolk your gAY" are plausible. It even could be that, I guess. But I think it's possible that it's just one of those odd things. Sometimes people do feel terribly sad for no great reason.

If it happens again in similar situations, or perhaps frequently but in totally unrelated situations, I'd start to worry about it.
