Am I fucked?
This girl randomly IMed me one day, saying my screenname was on her buddy list. Then we talked to each other, made friends.
Today, she IMed me for a long conversation. Then she wanted to see my picture. So I did. Got a picture of her in return. Then we talked about sports. She wanted to see me shirtless, flexing my muscles. I traded that pic for her more...err...risque picture.
Then things got hot. She wanted a pic of my dick and she made a video for me. Now she wants to meet up with me.
Should I?
Couple things to note:
- first and foremost, i'm deaf and thusly unable to communicate verbally
- when she was sending me the video, she signed off abruptly
- i'm a virgin...I don't know if that matters, hah

Are you sure this wasn't someone you know just looking to get embaressing pics of you? Did she send you a live webcam or a pre-recorded one? If pre-recorded, did the video make it the whole way through? Or did it get scrambled when she disconnected (for whatever reason)?

There are so many bad things this could turn out to be! Yet I can only think of one positive outcome that could come from this, and that one just doesn't seem so likely.

Please give us details and answer the questions above about the video/webcam. This is important.
If the girl is nobody you know in real life, this is most definately a trap. Either someone wanted to get you arrested for viewing cp (maybe that's why they wanted to set up a meeting in rl), or they wanted to blackmail you into something nasty.
You did the right thing by blocking them.
If I were you, I'd also make a new account. But that might not be necessary.

She doesn't have a webcam. And I compared her video to the pictures. I'm 90% sure they are fake.
Her 1st picture showed a tattoo on her belly while the video showed none. Bullshit on her part, eh?
I might even take the next step and stop using that screen name. But do you guys think it's necessary?
As for the deaf part, that's one thing I've yet to figure out. Signing, writing on paper, texting, or IMing is usually the only ways I can communicate with other people.

If you have enemies, and you don't think that what happened was random, it might be wise to change your account. Use your intuition here. Did the whole thing really seem THAT creepy?
As for the deafness, I've known a few guys who were "mostly" deaf. They had some hands-free-like looking devices in their ears, and with those they could hear reasonably well. Is that an option for you? |

Eh, my gut feeling is telling me that this girl is just being a typical 14 year old girl just looking for cybering. Regrettably, I took the bait.
I'm 100% deaf. Been that way since birth. All that hearing aids/cochlear implants does for me is to let me know there is a noise, but not what kind of noise aside from pitch.
