Default Requesting a reversal of the ban on THEatomicpunk.

I banned this guy about three weeks ago on request for one week, gave him a straight ten-point infraction since he wanted to resist the allure of Totse or something. It's been almost three weeks since I infracted him (June 25th) and his ban apparently expires on the 25th of this month, he's just emailed me about it to say he still can't post. When I gave the infraction it expired 10 days after I gave it, something must've happened in the meantime. I checked and he doesn't have any other active infractions that should push him up to a month-long ban, nor did he have any active ones at the time I infracted him. Any chance the ban could be overturned?

HAH! He's so weak..

Perhaps it has to be someone other than the person who gave the infraction to reverse it?

Not likely, but this software seems to be so quirky it might just decide that's how things are just for the fun of it.

Ooh you dirty bitch! you like that?! YOU LIKE THAT!?

It sounds like when Jeff changed the infraction behavior, it applied to all currently active infractions, not just new ones.

So when you gave him a one week ban infraction, the update automatically adjusted it to a one month ban.

Well have you tried to reverse the infraction and see if that works?

I have now, although reversing infractions that caused a ban doesn't remove the ban, that has to be done manually by the Admins/Supermods.

Any word from anybody who can reverse the ban?

In my CP it says that he's not banned. He's in the "Registered Users" group too.

I think he should be able to post.

There are other users that can't post but are in the regular status as well.

I've heard from a few HB posters on this issue.
