Theres no easy way to do it. I dated a girl for a year who was in love with me. And I was into less and less as the relationship went on, but I kept dragging it out. Even after we broke up, we reverted to friends with benefits. I feel bad about that, because she really was a sweet girl, and she deserved to hear it when I first starting doubting it.

Tell her it's over, don't give too many details. If she wants to know why, ask her one more time if she really REALLY wants to know. If you deem it appropriate to tell her the truth, tell her.

The reason I suggest doing it like that is, some things they are better off not knowing just to make it easier. If you fill her head with too many "what ifs" it will be devastating for much longer.

no. it came up in conversation after we had some fight. i was about to do so. i ended up doing so about 2 weeks later. it was the friday before valentine's day. i figured i'd rather fuck that day up for her than her b-day which was a week prior.
