A few months ago, I was feeling kind of out of it. Lots of shit going on, and whatever. I was supposed to hang out with this chick. So I decided to clean the slate down there. Before then, I had been nairing regularly. This time, the chemical did something to my skin at the very top of my pubic hair. Almost to the waist. A good two or three inches above my penis. I got a small bump/wart type thing as soon as I put it on. Like a razor burn, I guess.

Okay, no biggie...it happens. I go on about the evening, get way too drunk, mixed with some prescription something or another this other chick gave me at the bar. So we're going home and we end up fooling around in the parking lot. This isn't really my style, and i've never done it before. After about 30 seconds, it just feels wrong empty. We stop, she's pissed, I take her home.

So after a week or so, the bump flattens out and I think it's just healing as it should. But two months later, it's just a flat red sore, not much bigger then the tip of a pen. I did some research and discovered this is the first stage of syphilis. I havent been tested yet, because I was waiting for the three month mark. But I'm pretty sure thats what it is.

The bottom line is, if I didnt already have the broken skin, my chances would have been drastically reduced. So children....dont risk shaving/cutting yourself. It's just not worth it.

And this is really going to fuck up my chances with my current partner who I really care about. Even though she's a nurse and I think she might honestly understand, I don't think I can deal with that shame.

Again, there was a two month period of time between relationships, thats when it happened. I was single at the time. I wasn't with this current girl. I don't cheat. But then again...my current relationship isn't exclusive anyways, so it doesn't really matter.


Anyways. Yoyo, I've called every day this week for an appointment at my local clinic. I called them monday around 2pm, and they said they were booked for tuesday. They told me to call back this morning to make an appointment for wenesday. But they're system is fucked. They dont have a hold system, so if someone else is on the line, I go directly to voicemail. I started calling them at 8:00 which is when they open. At 8:56 I finally got through(I only called like 5 times) and they already had the appointments for the next day booked.

If I can't get an appointment secured by friday, I'll have to go to my regular doctor.

EDIT: And to those who said I might have misdiagnosed it, you're right. I was thinking the same thing myself. I could have just been paranoid, but today I got this unearthly rash on my lower calf, which is the second stage. So I'm pretty sure it's syphilis. It's easily treatable though, so I just hope thats all.
