Default drunk girlfriend

i have a problem with my girlfriend drinking...she doesnt do it often, but when she does she gets so ridiculous.its why she doesnt do it often in the first place.then we were talking about drinking tomorrow night, and i can already tell its just gonna be disastrous.she wants to buy captain morgans and some fuzzy navels for herself.wich i told her is too much and she said im always trying to control her.shes the kind of girl, that with three shots she is TRASHED...absolutely crunk.and she is really honary(sp) when she is sober and just uncontrollable when she drinks.anyone have some tips on controlling a totally crazy drunk chick? and some ideas to help me keep her from getting out of control?

Well aslong as she's getting out of controll with YOU and not a bunch of random guys at a party you're not invited to, atleast she probably cant cheat on you.

Are you willing to tolerate this sort of behaiviour? why does it bother you so much? Is it getting to the point where you simply dont like her when she's smashed?

think long and hard.

i had that problem with a highschool girlfriend...many years ago....I lived in germany so me and all my buddies would go downtown every weekend to drink, because of the lax drinking laws...she would very rarely come out..but when she did, she would get really drunk and be really annoying....like talking about people in a bad way when they are within hearing range, just being a drunk stupid bitch....

the way i dealt with it once was just yelling to her that she was a stupid bitch in front of everyone....she cried for a while, and was pretty mad the next day. It didnt accomplish anything.

my problem exactly...except me and my friends have this problem with being honest...and we end up speaking our minds to said person.wich results in the same product...probably a little worse.

since i pretty much dont think there is a solution to this problem...lets turn this thread into dumb drunk girlfriend stories or something.what you have done that helped or whatever.

Tell her to grow the fuck up.

I hate it when chicks get drunk, fall about the place, interrupt your conversations and then expect you to find them attractive.
Fucking annoying.

Assure her you're not trying to control her but it's really difficult for you to watch her get wasted and then have to take care of her.
Ask her to slow down and chill out a bit mate.

If she can't do that then you're going to be stuck with a girl you can't go out drinking with.

Thatta' boy thats the way to do it.

I find lots of chicks like to drink like fish when given the opportunity. Maybe you can steer her away from getting annoying. and in reality, theres no way you can change the way she drinks and acts....she has to realize she's making a fool of herself first.

To the guys that deal with it: You're fucking pussies. I know I've been going around saying it so much today that it's lost all meaning, but fucking man up you wimps. LISTEN TO YOURSELVES:

You're making excuses to your shitfaced girlfriend?

Man, I'm glad I don't expect anything from women. If my woman got shitfaced, I'd smack her. I'm not talking about beating her up, but a good smacking is in order if she's embarrassing you or herself. If she won't control her drunkeness, tell her it's over and find someone who will.

Don't settle for their shit just because you don't want to be alone. What kind of man are you if you're afraid of being alone. I'll tell you what kind, a WOman.

You fucking women make me sick.

Get shitfaced first :D

but seriously

Either A:

Your the annoying bastard who got all pissed when his gfs out drinking with her friends who ends up making the night worse by making a big deal of it when in reality she was pretty pissed but not being stupid (more so than the rest anyway)

or B:
Your g/fs like our other friend when she drinks she gets fucking wild
This girls tiny lil think about 160cm 45kg I watched her drink an entire 1125ml bottle of vodka in 40min and proceded to make a hefty dent in our carton of beer without losing her stomach.
She did however get kicked out by her roomates after getting into a fight with the wife of the couple she stayed with and got dumped on us as well as several of our friends for trying to get with there partners before many screaming matches in the st followed by having to baby her for a bit before she ran out the door and down the st
Walked into a random party (new years eve) who happend to be a friend of mine but whom she didnt know where she ended up causing more trouble taking several guys for long walks and passing out on the couch
Its really hard to explain how crazy she gets it needs to be witnessed

In that case well i recommend you hide

Alcoholism is a strange thing; its effects are always changing the social context in which they exist, but the result is always the same. She secretly wants to be the star performer at a gang-bang. Give her the opportunity.

I can understand where you're girlfriend is coming from in a respect. My last girlfriend dumped me for drinking a lot. I never got retarded drunk while I was dating her, and rarely even passed nothing more than a heavy buzz. Its a frustrating thing to be an alcoholic with a partner who doesn't understand it completely. This leads me to my serious point.

Is it possible she truely is an alcoholic, but is afraid to admit to it? I know myself, personally, before I admitted I was an alcoholic used to pretend I got drunk off of like 6 beers, when in reality I was sneaking around twice that amount of beers outside or in the bathroom where no one saw me.

Its a scary thing when the thought of being an alcoholic creeps into your mind for the first time. Unfortunately for a lot of us though, when you self realize this, its usually bordering being too late to turn back.

I just say try talking to her and telling her you understand. You understand but are concerned for her safety. Don't say you are embarassed by her because my last girlfriend said that to me and it sent me into a worse spiral downward. Tell her you care for her and want her to know you think about her and her safety, and thats it.

Belief me, letting an alcoholic know you care about them, makes a world of difference. So many of my friends thought I just needed to be left alone in my times after said ex, or needed to be yelled at to starighten up, ended up just driving me deeper into the bottle.

We alcoholics seem impartial, relaxed, and/or fine, but all we need in the end is someone to say, "Have a couple beers, and I'll drink a couple with you."

I don't know if this gave you any help what-so-ever, I just know I was in a similar situation and yelling and judging doesn't help things.

Drunk girls can be funny. I dont get why some of us get so hysterical and bitchy? Drink either makes me smiley sleepy or makes me slightly depressive. Loc could never do anything but make me smiley.

Perhaps your girl is drinking the wrong types of drinks? I dont know what the alcohol you mentioned in your first post is, but perhaps your girl needs to be drinking sweeter, thicker creamy drinks so her blood sugar can actually deal with all the alcohol.

Also, try to make sure she eats something before she goes out.

I was at a get-together with a boyfriend of the time once, and this utterly drunk female 'friend' started climbing onto him and doing that thing of sitting on his lap and dancing to music at the same time, whilst not wearing very much.
She was so trashed when I dragged her off him by the hair and chucked her onto the pavement she just lay there twitching.

Good times. good times.

I must ask you, have ever been the one sober girl at the party, watching everyone else have fun? It... sucks. And if once in a while she wants to get completely fucking retarded drunk then I say it's ok. Just be glad it's not happening every single weekend. I've seen that end of it too. It's not pretty. But if it's an occasional occurence, I think you should just let it slide. As long as she's not ripping her clothes off and attacking other guys, it's not really a big deal.

Grow some balls and tell her that you don't like it when she drinks because her drunk self isn't a likable one. Or just get her really drunk, gang bang her, video tape it and post it on the net for shits and giggles.

Next time she drinks grab her ass in front of everybody present and go "YOU SEE THIS? THIS IS MINE! NOBODY CAN DO WHAT I DO TO THIS! THIS IS MY PROPERTY AND TRESSPASSERS WILL BE SHOT ON SIGHT!!" while holding/smacking her ass

That'll turn her on and freak out any guys around.

That is SUCH a good idea! Try to not really let her know, as it will let out her normal drunk behaviour and not acting a bit cause she knows she's being filmed. Or atleast record her saying dumb shit on a mp3 microphone or something if u have one. That'd be pretty funny

I also do the speaking my mind thing, I find it satisfying a bit when the bitch (!) cries after ruining my night for no reason. I'm not even a mean person :p

The recorder idea might show her how ridiculous she gets, but doesn't it seem just a little creepy to anyone else? Following a drunk chick around with a recorder....

I doubt she'll care. And he doesent have to do it constantly, just film the best bits.

I do agree with above above poster that this would be a great idea. It will be a serious wake up call, and chances are she'll be highly embarassed to see how she acts when she's sober.

Posting it on Totse would also be usefull. For reasearch purposes.

Alcohol affects people different. I know girls that can drink and drink and drink, and while they're completely hammered they're still fun to hang out with. We all know at least one guy or girl that's just no fun to drink with, and that's a problem.

If your girlfriend is that girl... just dump the bitch. Those people are NEVER worth the effort.

Heh, I'm going to retract my previous post. I just saw my friends girlfriend be a complete fucking drunken mess, chugging a 26 and freaking out when someone would take her drink away, she jumped out of the pool and attacked me and was pretty much just embarassing to even watch. I felt pretty bad for her boyfriend. Sooo yeah. If your girlfriend turns into a total gongshow disaster when she's drunk, dump her.

Drunk girls are embarrassing. All they do is fall over shit and laugh, then they cry.

I'm sorry, ladies, but if you're a girl, drink to the point of tipsiness. Don't go beyond that state though, because you'll just end up making an ass out of yourself. It's sad but true.

The last girl that I was with was definitely an alcoholic. Every bit of free time she had, she had booze in her hand. She wasn't really a bad drunk aside from the fact that she's rough as shit and tends to beat the shit out of other girls when she's drunk...I just couldn't stand the fact that she drank so much, expecially when her mother is an alcoholic and she shows her disappointment on that issue every time it comes up.

What I'm getting at is no matter what might bond you guys together, if you have an issue this big either she's gotta recognize it and change it or you've got to start looking out for yourself, or else you're going to end up feeling responsible for someone else being a dumbass.

I HATE GIRLS THAT CAN'T HANDLE ALCOHOL. THEY NEED TO GROW UP. With that said I say just ignore her the whole night if she starts being a bitch. She will eventually stop and understand she is being stupid or she will cheat (which sucks but at least you will find out she isn't a good girlfriend). I know its hard and is really easy to say but I just ignore girls when they start being ridiculously drunk. It's SO annoying, I probably hate it the most out of anything in the world.
