I just realized this, like whenever im talking at a girl...that has a possibility of being more than a friend...they(the girl) always talk at me in a soft tone....

Let me explain, like every girl that ive talked to, meeting wise....that isnt a good friend of mine already..a girl with possible potential to be something descent...theres always this weird vibe going on. Its been going on with every girl ive talked to so far since like highschool....Idk if its me, them, or just the situation at hand. I'll talk to a girl and she'll be like super mellow, talking soft, doesnt say too many outlandish things(different then as how i would, go out a limb saying random stuff, jokes, comedy, whatever)...Its like sort of how i would act at first being around a super hot chick...but then id grow out of that stage and loosen up. The girls ive been with in person tend to but it may take a while for them....

Makes me wonder, whats up with them, mainly because ive recently hung out with a girl that ive met blindly thru myspace(yea i kno laugh it up) and she seems to be the worse....seems to me super shy at times, but similar to those in the past. I act relaxed around them and dont pressure them and make times good, make them laugh, and we talk alot but its like what the hell? When she goes to talk about random things when im in person with her she can tend to struggle getting out her words, or keeps thing short sometimes....idk ive talked to her numerous times on the phone and hung out with her several times in person, think shed be out of that shy shell by now? Eventually tho the longer we hang out she'll loosen up and start joking with me then we'll be on a roll, its like it takes her a bit to warm up?

Aren't girls like that with all guys? Maybe you are just intimidating? Maybe you are uglier than they expected?

Seriously, I doubt anybody has an answer for this. I am very unintimidating, and find myself getting along with girls pretty well from the start. You just sound like you're scary.

I'd substitute "intimidating" for "not interesting to." They could be like that because they aren't sure what you want from them. I intimidate girls sometimes. Especially girls that don't know me I'll say my name and they'll be like "BLANK FUCKING BLANKBLANK!!! WTF??" because they'd heard stuff about me and if a friend of there's calls they'll be like "I'm here with BLANK FUCKING BLANK!!!" and it creeps me out. So I get nervous and have to tell them to stop saying my name. Usually they'll react that way because of things they'd heard about me and usually one incident in particular which isn't a good charactor referance for me. However, they're always at least interested in me and are eager to talk about shit so that girls me a chance to pick their head and perhaps run some game.

Next time you meet a girl make sure she's aware that you're awesome and nuts.

Well if that was the case ^^^ theyd stop talking to me, and if that was the case with the current girl, she wouldnt have almost immidiately texted me then called me later that same night we both first met each other...when even then i was a bit on the mellow side.....girls can reject if they want to, but ive continued to hang out with her a few more times and continuely talk to her...girls can make up excuses for shit, and she didnt....soooo uglyness/my looks aint the case, but maybe just the way i act in front of them, and its not a question of getting along, every girl thats been like this we've got along fine its just

One girl in particular knew that, she said i was interesting cause i was always doing something out of the ordinary/crazy.... idk about not interested to me...other wise she wouldnt have hung out with me 2 days in a row(like 15 hrs apart from each date....9pm..then like 11:30am the next day??)then again for another 2 days later on down the line..I havent really had a girl act like that then never hear from her again because she didnt have any interest or w/e..

I find it entertaining/funny at most times cause im like heh i got this girl actin a fool...but then its not like i cant do it myself, if they are looking deeply into my eyes or whatever whilst im trying to talk with detail about something and maintain heavy eye contact with them i may lose a notch of concentration and talk with less intelligence, but then i give it right back to them when they go to explain something and give them the same exact treatment back, and make them stuttering a bit....good times lol

without being there, its hard to discern.

they could be irritated with you, and are talking low so they dont get an edge to their voice and tip you off. if they think youre unstable, this might be the answer. classic passive aggressive shit.

they might be interested, and youre too wrapped up to catch hints or dont interpret them properly. the long stares you described are almost always a sure sign of interest.

id say chill out a bit, and take notice of stances and inflection, as well as any interest on their part of trying to continue the conversation.

Shit....ive purposesly checked my distance with them...whether be sitting next to or walking next to..i always press the boundries..never seen a problem but once(minor even a possible placebo thinking it was) ahhhh usually in a conversation, if its something they can relate to they will break in with their own experience freely towards the topic..ive watched stances and like actions/movements and ive seen positive, just today recently, like shit ud think they do they dont...stuff that would be instinct/logical but instead it is overridden by choice..

Idk alot of girls that have been like that seriously were a yr or two younger than me..maybe the age difference caused it...A girl that i recently met up with(see other updated thread)thats the same age as me showed minor signs of it but nothing as much as the others....

once again, girl ive been hanging around with now, new piece, acts similar but puts out some playful acts....but when she texts me she throws out some hardcore shit, but in person barely anything of that nature.....I asked her about it in person and shes like what do u mean...jokingly haha then she started talking some minor stuff...

and then i kno i have a minor minor hearing problem, my hearing isnt as sharp after listening to loud music(car system)..but ive had to say what and huh to this girl the most and i serioulsy cant even half ass mind guess what she says. She mumbles. Cant even do the thing where u hear a sentence and u dont really hear the person but then after a second or two running the line thru ur head again u somehow pick up what they said from the tone and length of the words they said and the ones u didnt hear.

its just goofy, i often have to either stay real close to the chick to hear her(no problem with that) or tell her to speak up.

In such situatins, I would be compelled to just come out and ask them if I intimidate them. Life's too short to be sitting there and "loosening" up.

In te situation, I'd say something like "Why are you so quiet?...You're just sitting there all clammed up and shit...Do I intimidate you or something?!"

Yea i did that cause it was pissing me off, i got on her im like why u act so energetic and talk all this other stuff on the phone and texts but in person ur talking all soft and not talking all that trash.Cause i kno for sure this girl is wild when it comes down to it, and im sitting here taming the bitch....its like nah i want to see that shit babe let it out.
