There are very few parallels between an alleged coverup concerning the events of september eleventh and the manhattan project. They didn't keep the manhattan project covered up, it was just that everyone who found out about a project that wasn't killing 3000 random American citizens was given a sitdown in front of a military guy with a binch of shiny medals and told that it was need to know and eyes only and it was for the good of the country goddamnit. The manhattan project was started during a time when Europe was at war and we may have needed a little extra insurance in the event we ended up in it ourselves.
911 began, whenever they started (allegedly) planning it, during a time of peace nearly completely out of the shadow of the cold war and America was the unrivaled world power, all of the white nations where licking our nuts and the other nations made our shit while we robbed them blind. Anyone who found out about the attacks would have done their american duty and shouted it from the highest building because it is in times of peace that the people are most ready to disobey authority.
in 1941 we had a loyal populace and a real threat to keep people quiet about a completely non-dangerous project that was going to be used to kill slit-eyed foriegners.
in 2001 we have two generations of pseudo-rebels who would blow the whistle on any plan that would -not could- undoubtedly kill thousands of American citizens.

That 9/11 was performed by the government, and that people compare this conspiracy with the Manhattan project, and this annoys you? I haven't EVER heard that comparison before, and I have no fucking clue why you're ranting about black people and white women.

Socratic, you're right, I was more than a bit unintelligible in that last post. Let me try to clear it up.
What annoys me is.
A.) People cite the manhattan project as proof that a september eleventh coverup can also be carried out.
B.)That everything in point is logically unsound bullshit.
C.) The manhattan project was a research and development project conducted during a time when there was a very real threat that American soldiers could end up dying as a result of a war that had already engulfed the rest of the civilized world. While any September Eleventh plot was undoubtedly going to have an end result of thousands of American citizens dead, would have to have been planned extensively using lots of personnel who would also have to be killed or disposed of. A substantial number of these dead civilians would be white women. Nowhere in the history of America have we ever knowingly killed perfectly heterosexual white women on purpose (although black citizens have been experimented upon). I hope that the previous statements clear that up.
In short there are very few paralells between the mangattan project and any september eleventh coverup.

Unless I'm wrong, I'm always open to debunking.
