When this forum was created, one of the first posts was 'hey, this is how you can be a kick ass moderator!' Cool, sweet, fantastical--NOW WE ALL KNOW! That's where it should have stopped.

BUT NO! Everyone had to give their expert opinion on what it meant to be a good moderator for &totse. This has resulted in thread after thread of seemingly intelligent people spouting off their mouths in hopes of spreading their wealth of moderator knowledge. Sorry guys, but it has failed miserably. It's redundancy at its finest, and arrogance at its worst.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... Shut the fuck up. No one gives a shit how you mod or how you think everyone else should mod. Too many of you are focusing on bettering your modding than bettering your forum. I was under the impression that was our job.

I think this might open up a whole new can of worms... :(

Despite how the threads TITLE could be interpreted, my purpose in posting that thread was to see how many people thought exactly like you (and I too) do.

Moderators thinking their 'job' as a moderator, is to 'moderate', rather than just be good members of their forum... is precisely what I think is wrong with M&A right now, and the totse moderator staff as a whole.

What it translates to in English is of course:

As for the 'srs bsns' thing, I can't believe I'm the only one who is annoyed by this. People tell me in private all the time that it annoys the hell out of them (just like they tell me other things), but when someone finally brings it up here in the forums they're strangely silent.
