I had the chance to indulge in some wild lettuce a while back; just thought i'd post some comments on it; wild lettuce is a herb and can be perchased @ stores such as happy high herbs etc.

@ about 7-8 cones/bowls or so (being as this is a natural opiate orally its quite mild)
but never the less YES it DID do something and was surprising VERY enjoyable to smoke; i hav'nt smoke weed in YEARS but this substance was very pleasant to smoke; nice taste, no heavy coughing or splutters etc; easy to injest and quite an enjoyable buzz.

Just goes to show you not all legal herbs are bullshit.
My mate who had it also enlightened me to it being potentially a very heavy opiate but due to administration route it produced a mild effect;
That would mean hypothetically one could do an extraction to potentiate/purify/isolate the chemical.
Then again retrospectivly street smack itself it quite mild when comparing it with its different mothods of administration e.g. smoking dope causes a mild euphoric bliss in comparison to insullfation and OBViOUSLY IV respectivly.

I doubt if it grows locally (in any area) as like morning glory for eg.
Your best bet is legally buying it; @ headshops/herb stores etc.
Even online as like my mate did. It is quite relativly cheap too.
Do a google search for it almost if not ALL shops carry it.

Its just as easy to grow your own opium and use the same method of administration to get far better effects.
And don't tell me you can't grow it because its illegal,no cop on earth is going to bust you because you've got a couple of poppies in your garden,aslong as you use just a fraction of common sense.

I'm told it works best if you can get the stalks, and crush/blend, then dry them to produce rocks or a latex like opium.

1. Try smoking just the dried sap.

2. Try making a tincture of just the leaves and evaporating it to a thick resin.

3. Try doing a little acid/base workup and smoking the pretty white rocks.

...done 1 and 3 (reset broken and dislocated bones on #1), 'n seeing if #2 is as cool as reputed with this year's harvest.

I've always wanted to try Wild Lettuce... so that I could call up a friend and be like: "Doood I'm smoking lettuce, bro! Come over and I'll load a bowl for you!!!!"
