Ok, so being a (sort of) stoner I always point out the number 420 when I see it. But recently I have been seeing it almost every direction I turn and its starting to bother me a little bit. I watched the movie PI a week ago and it talked about how if you want to see a number, its going to show up. So my question is, am I just being paranoid and making a big deal of nothing?

Oh and apparently 47 shows up alot to many people.

Numbers are EVERYWHERE. I see the number 6 a lot. Pick a different number and see if you get freaked out day to day by it, trust me, you will.

this happens with everything in life.numbers are sometimes an example of this. it's usually cause you have some of attraction in your mind to this particular element in your life.


start looking at pictures of mercedez Benz's everyday or have a picture of one posted up (somewhere where it's something you see daily) and you'll start noticing them more and more.

i don't know if this is the subconscious mind bringing elements in life that the conscious mind is consistently exposed to or just things that are naturally in your environment but you notice because normally your noticing them

personally... I've felt like its a little bit of both...

More coincidence. I saw the number 420 a couple times the other day, both in random places. One spray painted at the skate park and the other...Actually can't remember, but I did see it.

Then theres a thread on totse with some dude talking about seeing the same number all the time...

I see 47 alloott. I used to see it at least 40 times a day last year and it fucking freaked me out.

I had this thing with the numbers 32 and 23 years before the movie 23 came out. There's this thing called "the 23 enigma" though that's been around for a while. Some say the number 23 is linked with bad luck. For me it's just often present at ironic or paradoxical situations.
