What the hell is wrong with me?
So, I am 21 years old and I feel like I have some relationship problems. Well, that much is very evident at this point in time, but I just don't know what to do about my problems. Here is the situation:
All throughout high school I had long-term girlfriends, and if I wasn't dating a girl I was working on one who I would eventually date. It was pretty much always one of the hottest girls in a 2000 student school too and I didn't have a lot of trouble getting them even if I didn't know them. I'm not trying to brag or anything here, but this is kind of crucial to my problem. So the last girlfriend I had which led up right to the end of my senior year broke up with me and it was bad. I really liked the girl and got physically sick when she broke up with me. I felt like I went crazy for a little bit. I had a lot of trouble taking the break-up, which I know sounds stupid in high school but it hurt. Anyways I felt like I eventually got over it by getting on random girls that summer and eventually not thinking about her anymore by the time I had to go to college.
So I get to college and there are beautiful girls everywhere and I want them all. I talk to one and get with them for a couple weeks and then I just kind of lose interest. I want to date someone, but I just have a ton of trouble getting attached to one girl. Right when I meet the girl I like them a lot, can't get enough of them and then it all comes crashing down after two weeks. I have noticed this after it has happened damn near 100 times. I feel like I am still looking for the right person for a relationship, but maybe I am just comparing these girls to my last girlfriend and once I get to know them they don't live up to my last gf so far so I drop them without even giving them a real chance. After all she was my last girlfriend and I can admit the girl I felt like I loved. I want to give these other girls a chance though, and I want to be happy with one girl. It's just not working and I am only curing a short-term fix with these weekly flings. I have realized that I am in a constant state of wanting what I can't get and once I get it, its not interesting anymore. This shit may be beyond anything someone can say to me, but I need some sort of advice. Please help me out and sorry for the long read.

Re: What the hell is wrong with me?
Seems like you need to understand that every girl is different, it'd maybe help you to try and give some of those girls a real chance to make you actually forget your ex gf, some sort of this shit is happening to me too, and its all about not allowing oneself to compare girl A with girl B.

Re: What the hell is wrong with me?
I do know every girl is different though and that's why I love them so much. I want them all, but I truly only want one to be with a lot and be happy with. I love all girls though, they are incredible and I want to be with every single one.

Re: What the hell is wrong with me?
Sounds a lot like me. I like girls. Girls like me. My ADD kicks in or whatever and I lose interest and bail on them like "you knew what this was" then I realize later that that was dumb, immature and a waste. A girl's only special to me when I meet and don't know her that well then it's a challenge to get nook from her. After a short while I feel like moving on. My longest relationship was 7 months I think and it lasted that long because of an almost purely sexual attraction, wed fuck with each other all the time.
Anyways, seeing as I'm in the same boat I'm no help, I'll just wait for someone with something useful to say to post. Well, this is totse so I could be here for weeks...

Re: What the hell is wrong with me?
I have the same problem kind of. I'd say I'm over my ex, but I find that every girl that I hook-up with or pursue, I find myself drawing comparisons between said girl and my ex.
I think that while I was with my ex, in my mind, she was my dream girl, and as long as she was with me, I kept that fantasy alive.
Every girls since then falls short. I still have all the good memories in the back of my mind and nothing since then has lived up to it.
I feel like I need to see her fail in life before I realize that she really wasn't the right person to me...but until that happens, I'm doing the next best thing, which is making myself a better person until something better comes my way, which keeps me wondering if something better even exists.

Re: What the hell is wrong with me?
I have come to the conclusion that almost every guy is like this and girls refer to us as "players". While in reality it is just that we love them all so much or we are hung up on someone else we cared about, so they shouldn't fucking hate. Not players, just lovers, oh and apparently there is no cure.

Either you don't know what love is, or you have a warped definition of it.
