Default Buying Your GF a vibrator

Is this a good idea? Should I ask her about it first? Or would it just be plain awkward?

My boyfriend bought me one but he made a little game out of it. I can't use it. He's the only one allowed to use it on me. It's kinda fun sometimes when he has me tied up and slowly rubs me with it to make me go crazy. Sure, buy one for her. Just be creative cause she may pick the vibrator over you. =p

I think if you're in a position (no puns intended there) in the relationship where you're both comfortable in and out of the bedroom with each other, buying sex toys is no big deal. However, if you're feeling awkward about purchasing, giving to her, or otherwise bringing a device like a vibrator to her, it should probably wait.

There is nothing wrong with getting her (or him, depending on your orientation and/or hormonal biases) something...my girlfriend has a ridiculous "toybox" (most of which I've purchased for her/I, mainly cuz I knew where the best stores happened to be in CO) and it does not detract from our sex life. It, in fact, very much enhances it. However, keep in mind that we've been together nearly 3 years, and we're both, shall we say, "sexually liberated" in our attitudes.

If you're in doubt, go ahead and ask your Lady...she might not think it's cool, and she might, but if you're not comfortable asking her about it, I'd guess it wouldn't be wise to surprise her with it.

It's better that buying her a strap-on. Unless you're into that sort of thing. Weirdo.

I agree with the serious posts here, get her one if you want to and you feel comfortable, but check to see if shes interested in having one first. One of my old housemates refused to get one, although she was constantly horny when her b/f wasnt ther,e hell he even suggested she should get, and he offered to pay for any one she wanted, but she still said no.

if youre willing to go out to buy one and give it to her, then sure.
or... surprise her, blind fold and some ropes could make it fun.
ive gone to stores for that sort of thing with my girlfriend, makes for a fun night.
also planning on making something like that...

I might feel weird if my boyfriend bought it for me because he went on about buying one for his ex and all this other shit.

But I'd not object lol. I'd just rather he started by buying me things that are unique. Or buying me things at all, lol.
