I'm 17 and I recently got a DUI in the state of Georgia.

What happend was I had a few beers then went out to drive to the gas station. On the way there I got pulled over by the damn cops for a broken bulb in my tail light and he said he smelt beer on me.

He asked me to take a breathalizer, but I refused and took a sobriety test. I passed except the report said I didn't have my toe pointed straight when I lifted one fott off the ground and that I I started too soon when he had me walk the straight line.

He did tell me I was going to be taken to the hospital and be given a blood test if I didn't take the breathalizer and I said OK.

He took me to jail and I stayed in the cell for about 10 hours until I was finally let out and they gave me a phone call two hours later.

I stayed in county jail for 3 days until I was bailed out and all in all I was charged with possession (although I didn't have any on me they said that cause it was in me I was possessing it), underage consumption, and a DUI.

I was so pissed at the cops arrogant and bitchy attitude that I signed my ticket FUCK YOU and I refused to sign the other one (I guess that doesn't help m case much) which was a big mistake, but oh well.

So my question is this, is there any way I could plead not guilty and get out of all of this? They only smelt beer and didn't end up giving me a blood test. And If I do plead guilty which I don't want too, what do you think the consequences will be? This is my first DUI BTW and I got it in a whole different state than which I live in.

Does anybody have any experience of getting a DUI or any lawmen out there that would know the consequences? Shit, I'm really hoping I don't get on probation again!

they can charge you in the US for a DUI without any evidence at all?

No, I didn't take the breathalizer test cause I took the feild sobriety test instead.

you need to talk to a lawyer b/c you could potentially get away with this, he'll fill you in with everything you need to know i would get on that right away

Eh well I think I'm just gunna have a public offender (which is I guess close to nothing) but do you really think I have a chance of getting away with this?
