Not by me of course, a friend did this. He did the scam where he returned to them their own item, a safe that was $37. As he approached the return counter, he asked if this was customer service. He pretended he previously thought it must have been in the back of the store so it didnt look suspicious that he didnt just walk in the store and go to the return area. So the lady asked him to sign something. He panicked and signed another friends name. She gave back $39 by mistake. Then he got the hell out of there. Walmart gets scammed like this everyday so would they even bother looking into what happened. They have his licence plate number. He's just trying to make sure that the name he signed doesnt get in trouble for his actions.

He only got store credit though right? He obviously didn't have a receipt. You can only do this 3 times a year or something around here. Most people that I know do it, at least make it worthwhile and do it with $500+ in stuff. Most people who work at walmart are idiots.

Oh, I forgot this part. He bought the safe 2 days earlier so he did have the receipt. He got cash, not store credit.

He walked in the store, went directly to the same shelf where he found the safe 2 days earlier, and took it to their return counter. He then returned it and left.

Also, what in walmart is worth $500+, cause my friend has 3 walmarts in his area.

The best things to jack with this method are those $70-$100 King Size Bed sheets and expensive picture frames. They don't fit in bags so you just put a bunch in carts and walk out the door. Just make sure you don't look suspicious and also that the greeter at the front is one with down-syndrome or something.

copy the reciept somehow so you can do it with the same reciept a few times

i did this at dicks sporting goods with two $50 knives. i just found a receipt on the ground while walking around, and went and did it. then i bought liquor with it, and guitar picks, and a new strap. so i had about 40 dollars left. then i lost the 40 dollars in my room. this was about a month ago.

My mother works the customer service counter, she caughts this kind of stuff happening all the time. She would like to stop it, but if she said no to a customer the CSMs would just override her desicion, so it ain't that they don't know what your doing, it's just that it's worthless to try and stop you.
