Default Looking to buy a new computer

I just my took computer back, as the hard drive was skipping(always fun) and now I am looking for a new one. Anyways i am looking into buying parts and putting one together but i don't know about that. I have about $1500 Canadian before taxes and i do like to do a lot of gaming and graphic design.

Well in the end my request is, suggest some good computers, im willing to put it together so a collection of parts will be fine as well.

If i put it together ill post pics.

QFT. Dell is actually pretty good for a price/performance balence. Have a look around their site and build a machine - you'll need something with half-decent graphics if you want to play games..

HP's support is patchy at best. It's a good machine but when you're buying new it's a good idea to think about what happens if it breaks too. Why are you so set on this machine when there are loads more out there?
