$ by google adsense
If you sign up with Google adsense, they give you a html code to put on your website, and when people click the ads by google, you get money.
So why not use this in combo with a macro?
My computer is horribly slow so until I can upgrade, I can only wonder if you can make money off this. Has anyone done this?

Re: $ by google adsense
Lots of people make money off it, it's called "click fraud".
Anyway, you need a lot of IPs (they'll know your cheating if they get 1000 clicks all from your IP), but otherwise it works.

Re: $ by google adsense
Because it's almost impossible to scam google. Their algo's catch most fraud. And each account is audited by staff before they cash you out.

Re: $ by google adsense
Google is very smart, it is pretty much impossible to scam them more than a few dollars. Your account will be banned in about 10 minutes if your clicks are coming from public proxies, overseas countries, ect.
I have heard of people hiring 'clickers' to click on their ads, but I doubt that click fraud is as prevalent as a lot of articles make it out to be.

Re: $ by google adsense
Waste of time, don't even bother thinking about it.
Alarms will be going off around your account because of high clickthrough ratio, multiple clicks per IP and mostly public proxy users.
Also, if you somehow managed to fool them, the value of each click would drop sharply as none of them convert to goals at the advertisers website (purchases, sign ups or whatever they're trying to publicize).
I'm an honest user and have made very little with it. Take the last three days for example. I've had over 7,000 hits to an article on one of my websites which has resulted in only 8 clicks on Google Adsense (I prefer to make them unobtrusive, could probably triple that if I lost all self respect). Those clicks converted to about $12.
In short: Google adsense is a waste of time for frauds, and it's not a get rich quick scheme for legit publishers either.

Sometimes, yes, it's usually between $0.70 to $1.20. It varies over different websites and different pages, since they all have different keywords and as a result get different advertisements, each with a different value.

Re: $ by google adsense
Bobsled: Those are some decent paying clicks. My last site I had received between 500-1000 UV a day. I was making around $4 a day by the time I sold the site. I only had the site for 22 days as well. The point is, I was only getting $0.02 clicks (some higher) but I was still making ok money. I was getting quite a few clicks though but ads weren't that obtrusive.
Adsense is worth it if you can get the traffic and don't pick a low paying niche.

So every time I click on an ad on totse I give Jeff Hunter $ .50 - 1.50 ?
Its not bad money depending on how much upkeep your site costs.
May I ask what site it is that generates 7000 hits? Not doubting you just curious.

Re: $ by google adsense
what if i took out ad space on a a popular web-based forum with a large article database. Would the adsense pay outweigh the cost of an advertisement on such a site?
