Default masking a discrepancy

i was wondering what the easiest way would be to mask a discrepancy in my account from my parents. the actual balance should read somewhere around 45222.69 but in reality reads 42,297.48.

now barring adding the difference between these two numbers what would the easiest way to mask this expenditure in my check book register?

to start off with the ledger balance was 62845.69 and as far as my parents know there has been one 400 dollar deposit, a debit of 14,000, 2000, 1723, and 300. so far the only things I've come up with are to change the original ledger amount from 62845.69 to 61845.69 to start. that will take 1000 out of the 2925.21 difference. from there i figure i could spread the remaining 1925.21 difference into some of the debits that are in the thousands.

anything eles i can do?

Man up and tell your parents you're capable of handling your own money?

Next time don't piss away three grand?

They will find out in the end.

Apologize before they find out and confront you about it.

Why the hell would they give you all that money?

Tell them to stop giving you money, you've got enough to last at least a year.

that moneys actually from an insurance lawsuit when i was 2 and had my right cheek ripped off by a dog and my insurance company refused to cover us.

basically they were gonna drop like 40,000 into a black rock mutual fund and lave a bit in for day to day spending in college. and i do think i can get away with it if i'm careful. they trust me alot so i figure i get a new ledger and put in a lower starting balance and then doctor some of the expenditures a bit here and there i'll be gold.

It's your cheek that got ripped off, it's your money.
