The US offers huge sums of money for information leading to capture of terrorists. About 25 million for Bin Laden, 25 was offered for Al-Zarqawi, and probably millions of dollars for the rest of the gang.

So, if I were to either guess their location (ie, lead the US on a bunch of crazy clues that seemed real until I got paid) or something tried to infiltrate Bin Laden's hideout and make my profits...would that be a good idea?

I'm in need of large sums of money (aren't we all) over the next 4 years, and while this seems like a terrible idea, there is a huge payout, in the millions.

Well, I was thinking, if I basically led them to a cave somewhere in Pakistan (that's where conspiracy theorists say he is) that looked like it had been occupied and recently abandoned, they'd leave me alone and give me SOMETHING.

What I'd figure is, I'd go back to my country, punk around for a couple of months to a year, then go to somewhere like Pakistan or Afghanistan for another year. If they dug deep enough and filled in the rest with what I told them, it would seem as if I went into my country, got myself into a cell, then got promoted to Pakistan or whatever.
