Alright I don't know why I'm posting this, I guess I'm not asking for advice really but just venting a bit. I really don't see the point of this thread, but if you're bored, here's a story :)

One saturday my parents have a party for god-knows-what-reason... this one girl comes over (I'll call her Sarah). We get to talking a bit, and she's quite an interesting girl. Of course I have my eye on her but I wasn't planning on making a move.

So I work at this summer camp for kids 5 years to 12 years. That next Tuesday we head to a community pool for a swim (the location I am at is an elementary school and doesn't have a pool). As I was walking to retrieve my glasses, some girl comes up to me and says 'hey!'. It was Sarah.

One of the older kids who has the nerve to say anything that pops into his mind (he's 12) saw me talking to her and was like "hey, trying to pick up chicks now, huh?"

Whatever.

And then he proceeds to say "alright I'm going to ask her out for you." And he does...

Next, Sarah leaves to go into the locker room, and one of the girls in my camp asks for my cell phone number, then walks into the locker room and gives her my number, and gets her number for me...

So I got a number and a date without having to do anything. But the day before we were supposed to go out, the girl texts me saying "oh I just got a call from my boss, I have to work so I can't go to the movies with you"

No big deal, I guess. Of course we'll just reschedule it.

Eh, not so.

I went to go see Transformers Tuesday night. Before heading off to the movie, me and my friends decide to grab a bite to eat. As I'm eating I catch a glimpse of Sarah.

With her new boyfriend.

Shit.

So of course I was pissed and really moody to the point I lost my appetite. I didn't even feel like watching Transformers. But after seeing this kickass movie, I pretty much forgot about the whole incident with Sarah.

In conclusion, Transformers > girls.

My thoughts are telling me that she didn't blow you off because her boss said so, she blew you off because she found someone else. Most women do that. They always take the opportunity when they find something better.

Lawl. But dude Transformers came out in the eighties, so its REAL fans would be in their twenties. I don't think you're too old to be liking Transformers.

i never really liked transformers much. but power rangers was awesome. but now it's the gayest shit since Barney. now they're police officers or some shit. that pisses me off.

I saw transformers Ultimate Experience (recliner rockers and waiters bringing you popcorn every 10 minutes and shit.) Everyone else in the cinema would have been over 25, and it was PACKED.
