Jeff now that registration is closed, what do you suggest we do about users with 4, 5, or 6 different mutliple accounts?

Give them a "multiple account" infraction.

There are some posters who let it be known that they use multiple accounts, us mods of AR&R tried to bring it up in several previous threads but we were all told "they haven't done anything bad with their multiple accounts in a while so you shouldn't infract them".

If they've been banned with an old account and make it blatantly obvious they're back with a new one, what do we do?

I'd love to straight out ban them, but that would probably cause a riot and another swarm of Emails from people threatening to 'attack' my forums.

I usually then infract them for every new post they make using their acknowledged sock puppet account.

There will always be lame attacks on the forums and we should never be seen to give into blackmail.

The ban on his old account ran out a while ago, and he's only using one account now, so he's not doing anything to be banned for.

If he does something wrong, that warrents an infractions, then go for it; that's why infractions exist.

If he doesn't do something wrong, then there's no reason to infract.
