While I do agree with the side your taking, your point is inaccurate. The bible several times referres to Saul and David's mistresses as a sin. Prostitutes weren't accepted either. You remember the story about Jesus telling the one who hasn't sinnned to cast the first stone? They were going to kill someone for being a prostitute. Not nearly the same social climate we have today.

In the Judiac and Christian world sex outside of marriage wasn't accepted until very recently. That doesn't mean that other cultures agreed with this code of conduct.

In general getting arouund someone's religious ideologies about sex is an easily doable thing if a few requirements are met.
