Default This is the stuff

I normally try to keep out of.

The Girl: She is a lovely girl, beautiful really, and the best thing is she actually likes me. We've been flirting around for a few months (I'm a big chicken shit that can't make a move) but tonight after the fireworks show we ended up making out.

The Problem: She has a boyfriend, I knew this, she knew i knew this, and everybody knows this. I barely know him but he's a great guy (actually one of the nicest people I've met). I hang out with a network of about 30 people of whom everyone knows everybody else and he's the guy everybody loves due to reasons stated prior.

They've been dating for almost a year and I think she lost her virginity to him, but they only see each other once every couple months since he moved which is why I belive she was inclined to cheat.

I can barely stand to look at myself in the mirror because of this and I have ultimately decided to man up and tell him what happened.

Do I keep the girl (she cheated on him why not me)? What if he wants to kick my ass(I'm bigger and stronger than him but I've never even been in a fight before)? Are my friends going to disown me?

I really needed to get all that off my chest so I can sleep. The wisdom of totse is appreciated. (I'm 16 just incase you were wondering).

Are you in highschool.... Suck it up and be a man about it... You did that knowing she had a boyfriend, you could have stopped yourself.

Do you really wanna keep her?
Shes a cheater, what makes you think you're any different.
But I think it's good that you're gonna tell him, he deserves as much.
And frankly, i he wants to kick your ass well....cmon, he gets one free shot. But no sucker punches to the stomach, thats how Houdini died and I ain't going out like that!

You shouldn't count her out 'cuz she cheated, 'cuz if you think about it she only cheated 'cuz she sees him so rarely and may not be a cheater by nature.

Then she should have fucking dumped the guy!

It's not exactly difficult to make a phonecall that goes "hey babe we're just too far apart. i want to fuck other people. So, can we still be friends?"

Shit happens.
Don't make a habit out of it. I don't think you will due to your apparently working sense of guilt. That's good. For some reason, a lot of humans seem to be missing that bit.
Anyway, be prepared for the worst to happen. The guy gets pissed off and talks shit about you, your friends turn on you, your friendship with the girl ends, and you're stuck alone with nobody to turn to with your horrible guilt and sadness.

It'll probably be a bit better than that, though, but you should always expect the worst in these sorts of situations. Good luck.

Aside from the fact that she cheated on her boyfriend and I wouldn't trust her as far as I could kick her, at least your're being a man enough to feel guilty and recognize your dip-shitted mistake.

If the dude is as nice as you say he is, then you owe it to the man to tell him what happened. Talk it out man-to-man and hope he doesn't feel like taking it out on your nuts.

As for the girl... eh, she cheated on her boyfriend whom she seemed to have been serious about (what was it-a year you said?), so if I were you, I wouldn't trust her.

Wear a cup before talking to her boyfriend. :D

tell him, tell him how you feel about it and don't try to pin any blame on anyone, tell it all fair and true. at least then he can make up his own mind over how to deal with her without hearing some twisted story.
