Basically, I started work doing labour as a builder today. My boss is a sound guy and a family friend, and in our lunch break we drove down into town to grab some food. He also wanted to show me some hot girl who works in the place he gets lunch every day. So im in there grabbing a bite when this girl walks in. i knew i knew her from somewhere, but i couldnt think where. She obviously new me better than i knew her, heh. She said hi *my name* and i just had to play along like i knew who she was. Worst moment ever, and im sure its happened to everyone at least a couple of times.

The complication which could make things vaguely interesting: I *think* the hot girl my boss was pointing out is her sister. Haha. Yes the thought already crossed my mind.

She was talking to me about a festival were both going to this weekend, and i got the feeling she was into me a little. But i am truly fucked if i don't know her name (a little sex on the side would be pleasant, to really top off the fri/sat night ;)) Which brings me on to...

You know those places that take your name when you order food? Try to get her to go to one with you, if you can, and make sure she goes first, then just listen for her name.

I have never, ever, ever, heard of one of those places.

How do you end up going to a festival with girl when you don't even remember her name or remember how you recognize her?

I'd probably ask one of her male coworkers, if possible. There are a ton of things you could do, if you wanted to go to the trouble. Most would be considered stalker-ish, though.

We both happened to be going to the same festival, she asked me about it...

I think i will just wait until i bump into her there. Something will turn up or i will improvise. Haha

Simple. Ask her age, and when she tells you, you say "NO WAY!" and demand to see her ID. Then you get the name from there. :)

Exchange phone numbers. Ask for her to write her name on it so you won't forget. Or if it's cell phones, just fill in each others phones. Find the newest entry, and BAM!

I usually just see what her friend calls her if I don't remember.
Even if they use a nickname it still helps you remember.



You can always ask her friend I've done that a couple times and they were cool with it

"Hey, I'm bad with names, what was yours again?"

Haha, but honestly, just apologize, and say that you forgot her name. Everyone makes mistakes. Oh, and if you feel, crack a joke and say something like, you were drunk that day and thought she was someone hot. (Say it in a playful way, so its a neg, and not an insult)

But yeah, the age thing is a pretty good idea, that's probably the most inconspicuous way of getting her name.

bring up the topic about how kids would make fun of peoples names in grade school.
