Oy, MOODS!!!
Ok, so I really and truly love my girlfriend, and I intend to marry her in the future. There's one thing I absolutely HATE though.
Those DAMN mood swings!!!
I call her up this morning being perfectly loving and polite and nice and she sounds sad and hold the entire conversation with 'yeah' 'uhuh' 'no' 'hmhmm'. So, me being the caring, sensitive boyfriend ask "What's wrong baby". Guess what she says? "I don't know".
Ok, so I've learned NEVER to believe it when she says that, as everyone knows that if there is something wrong with you chances are you know exactly what it is. So, naturally, I walk right into the pms trap, because I am stupid enough to care. I persist by saying 'please just tell me what's wrong' and 'I know you know what's wrong, why don't you just tell me? Did I do something to piss you off?'. Eventually I get yelled at - "I'm PMSing ok I can't help it!".
So now I am just plain annoyed. Here I was having a perfectly good day and she has to go and yell at me for no fucking reason whatsoever. I tell her what I beleive, that no matter what mood you are in, or what is causing it, if you truly don't want to be a pissy bitch then you will make the choice not to be and that's that.
So I tell her that I have to get off the phone and do some work (which is the truth). So after a while I call her back, and it's the same damn deal all over again. I decide to try one last fucking time and I get yelled at yet again, and I've done absolutely nothing.
So anyway, my point is I think girls should be required by law to announce to any and all persons with which they will be interacting with that they are currently pmsing and as such are in an uncontrolably pissy mood. I am not badmouthing girls by any means, but I'll be damned if I am going to get yelled at without at least letting them know that they are unjustly treating me like a dog.
/rant.
Ok, I feel somewhat better now.
In short - Moody girlfriend yells at caring, loving, thoughtful boyfriend (I'm not saying I'm perfect) because of that time of the month... Discuss.

Heh, you learn to switch off. If after the first few remarks you realise the conversation is going nowhere, tell her to ring you when she's feeling better and end the conversation... easy!

I thought he was yelling at the mods and misspelled it...
Guy above me has the right advice, though.

Re: Oy, MOODS!!!
Yeah like I said I did that a couple times but I was in a pretty damn good mood (still am now, even if I am annoyed... I'm not going to let her ruin my day) and I actually wanted to talk, so I tried calling her back to see if she had straightened herself out, and as you read in my original post, I was relentlessly torn to pieces.
It also turns out she is pissed at her dad. She's 18 and is living with him for financial reasons, but she has been spending almost all her free time with me, which I love of course, and he is getting jealous. I think he's just being a jerk. So you can just add this nice little piece of annoyance on top of her pmsing and you get a wholesome serving of pissy bitchiness!!! Oh joy yum yum yum. /sarcasm.
I really do love her though, she means everything to me, it's just that I absolutely hate being yelled at, especially when I am being good to her and trying time and time again to have a civil, or at least half-way civil, conversation with her. I suppose though that she can't help it, and it's not entirely her fault. I know she loves me and she did end up apologising at the end of our last conversation, when I flat out told her that she was being completely irrational and unfair (not in so many words of course, I actually just told her to stop yelling at me because I hadn't done anything to her).
Lol, she works at the local supermarket as a cashier. I feel sorry for her customers today. I had to remind her to be careful and to not bite off their heads lest she be sent home by her manager.
Poor innocent grocery shoppers... They'll never know what hit them, that is unless she hauls off and slaps them, then they'll sure as hell know.

How do you gather that? I was talking about her pmsing. Are you referring to her dad being annoyed because she's with me so much? We don't really care about that so much, it's the summer and this is probably the most time we will get to spend with eachother because once school starts again that has to be my main priority, so I am going to take full advantage of this summer.

Re: Oy, MOODS!!!
If she's getting pissy with you on a regular basis, you could be spending too much time together. The fact her dad seemingly doesn't like you, or doesn't like the idea of his little girl being with a fella for such an amount of her free time, could be stressing her too.
Of course, maybe she is just PMSing... Ive never heard a girl use that as an excuse for being in a mood, though, unless in a sarcastic manner.

Maybe you should have just left well alone and accepted the fact she didn't really know why she was in a bad mood instead of forcing the issue. Sometimes I'm in a bad mood and I don't think it's anything to do with PMS I think it's just because I'm human, and I couldn't explain why and if someone was pushing me like that I would have thought they were asking for a fucking slap to be honest. So yeah I don't blame her in the slighest.

Re: Oy, MOODS!!!
Here's a rule that you learn as you grow older:
Do NOT try to understand women. You WILL fail.
Men and women are completely different beings. As a man, I have tried and failed several times, trying to understand.
I love my wife, she's one of the few that doesn't make everything strange and complicated.
Wonder if she was once a man? :)

Re: Oy, MOODS!!!
Whoa.
Bleeding from the vagina does NOT give her the right to be a total bitch to someone who clearly cares about her.
Maybe one day when she phones you up you should act all bitchy to her, and when she pressurises you into telling her what's up you shout "it's my time of the MONTH,okay?!?"
That would show her.

QFT! This happened to a friend of mine when I was hanging out with him, and he had it on speakerphone. He just asked her why she was being bitchy, and she answered that it had been a bad day. His reply was that it was no excuse to be all bitchy at him, and he hung up. 30 seconds later, she called him back and apologized. Next time I suggest YOU try this.

Re: Oy, MOODS!!!
If my fiance keeps on asking me, "What's wrong babe?" after I've already told him nothing, I yell and get bitchy. If I fucking say nothing is wrong, leave it at that. Either I don't feel like talking about it and I don't want to tell you I don't feel like talking about it, or I actually have no idea what's wrong and am just in a shitty mood.

Re: Oy, MOODS!!!
It only lasts a week. You can always tell when they snap back at you for nothing. Just back away. Slowly. Actually I read somewhere your supposed to make lots of noise to scare them away.
Wait that's an angry motherbear, oh, nevermind. Same thing.

Exactly.
When you're annoyed you don't want to be annoyed with niceness. As stupid as it sounds.
I've been angry before and just wanted to rant about it and got told how much I was cared about and all this sympathy. That's not what I wanted to hear. What I wanted to hear was "yea, asshole, what can ya do though" so I can get over being angry without being agitated.
Sometimes niceness when you're furious/in a bad mood just feels annoying and makes you more irritable. Just helps to be angry over things once in a while.
