Hookers antisocial?
Inspired by a recent thread here, I ventured to Carigslist, and looked under "erotic services". I saw a rather cute add, with a screen name posted. After some quick talk, she asked me if I wanted to see her on webcam. I declined, and told her I just wanted to chat. She said to have a good evening, and promptly logged off.
On all the other threads, the consensus is that hookers are people too, and should be treated as such. Why is it, then, that I was given the cold shoulder? Surely a hooker's life must be lonely, and I would think that they would welcome any prospective new friends.

Re: Hookers antisocial?
You got played.
Theres a 95% chance, that it wasnt even a real person. And even in the off chance that it was, they're still doing the same thing. Trying to get you to sign up for the cam site so they make money.

Time is money
You don't pay?
Freak!
You ain't funny...
What kind of lonely misfit dink tries to make friends with someone who's job is to be 'friendly' for money? Why would a money hungry slut want to be friends with a guy like that?
Buy some rocks. Like an 8-ball...load your wallet with credit cards 'n cash...then you can be her...'friend', 'k?

Yes, I know. How silly of me to treat them like another person, rather than an object to be paid for.

You're misinterpreting what he's saying.
She's WORKING. When you call Dell tech support, and Suzy answers. If you tell her "I don't want your service, I just want to talk", she'll politely tell you to go fuck yourself, and hang up. She doesn't get paid to talk to you. Neither does the hooker. She doesn't make money talking to you. She wants to make money.
She probably has many many friends (who buy her stuff, no less), and she'd rather talk to them whenever she wants, rather than talking to you because you want to.

Re: Hookers antisocial?
Hooers might have the friendlies for friends & family.
Why in the world should someone she doesn't know be treated like the friends she already has? Johns aren't really considered human.
The best she'll treat you is like a friendly dog...do you mind if she kicks you? Or would you prefer if she kicks you?
