Slight problem
Last night my girl friend asked me of we could go to her friends house today to hang out. Normally I would have been okay with this but the friend she is talking about is the friend that likes her a lot. I didn't want to dissapoint her so I said we would go.
Any ideas on how I can not go, maker her want to do something else, or change her mind on not going?
Thanks in advance!

Are you dating her? If so, go ahead and have a good time, chances are that he'll weird her out if he likes her so much and tries something in front of you.

Re: Slight problem
Why? She's open about it. You're invited. And you have a perfect opportunity to reinforce your domain. Just be extra lovey dovey around him.

Re: Slight problem
Assuming you trust your girlfriend, who gives a fuck?
I'd just go. Tons of guys have a thing for my girlfriend, and you just learn to live with it.
You should be flattered that your girlfriend attracts that much attention.

Re: Slight problem
I think the problem is that im too damn paranoid. Im always afraid that someone will steal my girl friend away from me. I was never paranoid with any of my last girl friends and I don't think I have a reason to be now. She says that she loves me and I do believe her so I shouldn't be paranoid.

It involves the words
"shopping"
"lets go"
"wherever you want"
"i'll pay"
If you can lure her into doing something fun and special that's completely for her, it might work.
But atleast she invited you to hang with her and the creepy guy, it's not like she's going alone, leaving you out and letting that fuck try and move in on her.

Re: Slight problem
Sounds like you're SOL, buddy. Unless you feel like faking sickness, and letting her go to her friend's house all alone...

Re: Slight problem
either tell her you dont wanna be around a guy who has a thing for her cuz thats just WEIRD or go with it and have a good time.
either way if shes really your girlfriend there will be no problems.

QFT
In all cases, honesty is crucial to any serious relationship. Just tell your girlfriend how you feel.
So what if you are overly-paranoid?? That's something that may be a dealbreaker, but she could also just have to learn to accept it.

Re: Slight problem

Very Naive people.
It's more the thought and the idea of devoting a day utterly to her happiness, rather than the shopping.
